Dear Lord Jesus Christ - God, my life needs a lot from You if my soul will ever have any rest or peace. Lord, everything I have I put into the music I create for You. God, sometimes I wish I knew the right way to go, I wish that I understood if my life in music had a purpose in You. Its all my heart wants is to create artwork about truth, and God, and the spirit, and for it to be successful. I have been struggling. My lack of any success in music has weakened my resolve and my spirit, and it has made my heart hurt, and I am afraid one day it may make my heart cold if I never succeed.
That is why I pray to You with such urgency about music in my life. I pray, and then I go forth and hope that You in Your mercy allow for a path for me somewhere. And I hope that my prayers come to You in the way that You want them, in a way that I hope You will act on. God, You are king of the whole Universe, and nothing is withheld from You. I know that the success of one man is smaller to You than a sneeze in the life of a mouse. God, there is nothing You cannot do. I have that faith in You Father.
God, I have prayed for miracles, and I have seen many come to happen. I asked for the Lord Jesus to make a way for me on the earth, so that I could live on my own, and a place was prepared for me, - if anything hasn't happened that I asked for - I know it was my own fault.
Jesus Christ, I am not worthy to ask anything of You, but I am struggling in life, and Lord - I know a little good, and a little light set in the right place makes darkness and misery disappear. You know all of my wants, and all of my needs, - You wrote my whole story from the beginning to the end.
I say thank You to You, Jesus, because I will not be made ashamed that I called on You, or asked for the help of God to make my life more Godly, and filled with good purpose instead of futile, and unhappy. It is a good thing that I have seen unhappiness, and all kinds of things that are horrible to go through - because You were teaching me things along the way.
I say thank You because You do have a purpose for me, and I know that I do not understand it. I say thank You to You God, because You are causing me to understand my purpose on earth, and all of the reasons You made me. I say thank You, because I know You are a compassionate and loving God, full of forgiveness for those who have faith in You, and You do not neglect the voices of those who pray to You.
God, if You would bless my life with a musical purpose, I feel I would be a better man. God, I just feel like I am like a farmer who has gone out onto the soil with seeds, and dug, and planted them, and I didn't see anything come up. I am grateful for my ability, my know-how, and anything I know of music. But Lord, what use am I to You without people to experience the things I create in Your name? I feel like its like having a lot of really good herbs, but no meat.
Lord Jesus, I am very lost. I love You, and I praise You for tomorrow, and I praise You for today. You are everything to everyone, and for everyone, and I know that You do not ignore anyone. Amen in Jesus Christ's name.
