Dear Lord,

I know I have done a lot that you may disprove of but I really am trying to find my way back to you. I lost my faith a long time ago. I blamed you for so many things that have gone wrong. I even hated you at times but in the end, Lord, I still need you. Please help lift my spirits and find my way again. Please guide me in the right direction. Please help me figure out how to get through life's troubles. I'm on my knees and ask for your help. I'm lost.

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Isaiah 40: 28,29. ~ Praying that you will find peace knowing that God loves you, and even when at times we may distant ourselves from him he is still there watching over us and loving us and waiting patiently for our return. We are all going through the battle of our life, dear friends. No one is exempt from the sufferings of this world. Whatever you are facing, there is always hope when you belong to Christ. There will be a time for your trial to end; and if you have held out in faith to the end, you will be rewarded in this life and the next. Why does God allow us to go through heartache and pain? It is only in the crucible that we gain an eternal perspective of the power of the God we serve. It is there that we see that Christ does meet us in every trial causing it all to work according to his perfect plan. It is there that we are strengthened as he draws us near to him.
