Dear Lord, I can't get over her. She left me and since then my faith has seemed to get weaker and weaker despite my prayers. Despite calling on you with all of my strength. You say Lord that if my faith is gone it is because I had no root. Dear Lord I have done everything in my strength to be close to you, yet you seem to run from me. I miss my family. I miss my wife and I can't get over her no matter how hard I try. Why Lord? So much has been taken. I don't know what else to say or do. I feel as if I am a burden to everyone. Please Lord, I ask for mercy. For a sign, for anything to show me that you still hold to your promises.

I pray that you find strength through the Lord to persevere despite the loss you feel through the abandonment of your wife.  Remember while humans who are imperfect beings may leave you the Lord will never leave you nor forsake you and will walk you through your hardships.
