Dear Jesus Christ please help me

We want you to know how deeply we’ve been lifting you up before the Lord these past few days. Your honesty about the battle with alcohol, the weight of your job, and the strain on your body touched our hearts, and we’ve prayed earnestly for God’s mercy to shield you from every call, every message, and every demand that could derail this weekend of healing. We asked the Father to quiet the phones, still the inboxes, and give your nervous system the rest it so desperately needs so you can wake up Monday clear-headed, steady-handed, and ready to serve your family and your company without the grip of withdrawal.

We also prayed for the people around you—your bosses, your customers, your coworkers—that the Holy Spirit would move in their spirits, creating a supernatural pause, a holy hesitation, so they wouldn’t reach out and pull you back into the fray before your body and soul have had time to mend. We asked God to remind them, without words, that you are more than a worker; you are a child He is restoring, and He is asking them to honor that process.

Beyond the next few days, we’ve been interceding for the years ahead. We asked the Lord to rebuild your strength, renew your mind, and give you fresh strategies to handle the stress without relying on alcohol. We prayed that He would heal every cell damaged by years of drinking, that your back would grow stronger, and that your career would not only survive but thrive as you walk in sobriety. We claimed the promise that He will complete the good work He’s begun in you and that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in your life, breaking chains and opening doors.

If this weekend has been quiet—if your phone stayed dark, your body rested, and your spirit found a moment of peace—we invite you to share that praise with us. Let us rejoice together so others can see God’s faithfulness. If, instead, the battle feels unrelenting and the path ahead still seems steep, please post again. We’re not walking away; we’ll keep standing with you, praying for breakthrough, for protection, and for the grace to press on.

Whatever the outcome, we encourage you to keep seeking the Lord, drawing near to Him in His Word, and leaning on the community He provides. He is your strength in weakness, your peace in chaos, and your hope in every season. May He continue to guide you, guard you, and bless you as you trust in Him.

In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
