Job 1:21

Prayer Partner
Father God please forgive me for my sins in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ. I confess my drunkenness, my lying, my idolatry, my sexual immorality, perversion, masturbation, pornography and profanity in the name of Jesus. I confess all my sins of commission and omission known or unknown in Jesus Name. Lord Jesus Christ Son of God have mercy on me a sinner.

Father God I ask for Your Will to be done in my life in the name of Jesus, Not My Will But Yours Be Done Father God ABBA Father in Jesus Name. May my present and future be aligned with Your Will God in Jesus Name, Heavenly Father of Lights if anything is not ordained by You May I not receive it in Jesus Name. I surrender my relationships, my endeavours, my plans, my careers and my circumstances to You God of Job, Jacob and Abraham who was manifested as Jesus Christ the Son who is one with You died on the cross as as sacrifice that we can come to You anytime for forgiveness in Jesus Name.

Father God I am considering to become a Catholic, I can see Peter was given keys to start this church and until now it still stands strong and Jesus declared it would never fail against even Hades or something. I have a strong liking to the power of the rosary, the unity of the church and how the saints and Mary can intercede for us we do not pray to them we ask them for intercession nor should one worship them worship is only to God but veneration is to saints and Mary. I feel like becoming a Catholic would bring me closer to You God being able to partake in sacraments, being able to meditate on the mysteries, being able to live a righteous life governed by universal apologetic laws I feel Protestants just follow their emotions or their own interpretations of the bible I mean look how many denominations there are branched from the reformation. So Father God I ask if Catholicism is the path to go down please give me a sign God in Jesus Name, a vision when I sleep or just a revelation in general Lord God of Job Moses in Jesus Name and Jonah. Open my eyes to truth God because I do feel an urge to dedicate myself to the Catholic faith due to the loneliness depression I am going through I feel it would give me purpose and peace.

To continue God I place my autism in Your Hands in the name of Jesus, all the rumours bullying I went through growing up a teenager I place in Your Hands God in Jesus Name, I place every situation I am undergoing now or every thought trouble obsession security of mine I surrender it into Your Hands God in Jesus Name. Lord Jesus Christ Son of God have mercy on me a sinner, Lord Jesus Christ Son of God have mercy on me a sinner Lord Jesus Christ Son of God have mercy on me a sinner.

We come before the throne of grace with you, lifting up your heartfelt confession and cries for mercy, for we know that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Your repentance is a beautiful and necessary step, and we rejoice that the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin. You have called upon the name of the Lord, and you shall be saved (Romans 10:13). Let us continue to walk in the light as He is in the light, that we may have fellowship with one another, and that the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7).

We must address with both love and urgency the path you are considering toward Catholicism. While we commend your desire for structure, unity, and a deeper relationship with God, we must test all things by Scripture, for every spirit and teaching must align with the Word of God (1 Thessalonians 5:21, 1 John 4:1). The traditions of men, even if they appear holy or ancient, must never supersede or distort the clear teaching of Scripture. Jesus rebuked the Pharisees for this very thing, saying, "Why do you also disobey the commandment of God because of your tradition?" (Matthew 15:3). Let us examine some of the concerns through the lens of Scripture.

First, while Peter was indeed given a significant role among the apostles (Matthew 16:18-19), the idea that this establishes an unbroken line of papal authority is not supported by Scripture. The "keys of the Kingdom" refer to the authority to preach the Gospel, which all believers share (Matthew 28:18-20). The "rock" on which the church is built is not Peter himself but the confession of faith that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God. The church is built on Christ alone, the chief cornerstone (Ephesians 2:20). There is no biblical basis for the papacy as an infallible authority, nor is there any indication that Peter was meant to be the first in a line of successors with supreme authority over the church. In fact, Peter himself describes the church as built on Christ, the living stone (1 Peter 2:4-8).

Second, the veneration of Mary and the saints, while often well-intentioned, is not supported by Scripture and can easily lead to idolatry. The Bible is clear that there is one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5). Praying to or seeking intercession from Mary or the saints detracts from the unique mediatorial role of Christ. Nowhere in Scripture are we instructed to pray to anyone other than God, nor are we told that Mary or the saints can hear our prayers or intercede for us. The dead in Christ are at rest, awaiting the resurrection (Hebrews 9:27, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). They are not omniscient or omnipotent, and they cannot intercede for us. To attribute such power to them is to give them honor that belongs to God alone. Even the use of the rosary, while it may seem meditative, often leads to repetitive, vain prayers that Jesus explicitly warned against (Matthew 6:7). Our worship and prayers must be directed to God alone, in spirit and in truth (John 4:23-24).

The sacraments, as taught in Catholicism, often add human traditions and requirements that are not found in Scripture. For example, the idea of transubstantiation (that the bread and wine literally become the body and blood of Christ) is not taught in the Bible. Jesus said, "This is my body" and "This is my blood," but He was speaking metaphorically, as He was still physically present with His disciples (Matthew 26:26-28). The Lord's Supper is a memorial, a time of remembrance and proclamation of Christ's death until He comes (1 Corinthians 11:23-26). Similarly, the Catholic teaching on baptismal regeneration (that baptism is necessary for salvation) contradicts the clear teaching of Scripture that salvation is by grace through faith alone (Ephesians 2:8-9). Baptism is an outward sign of an inward reality, a public declaration of faith, but it does not save us.

The unity you seek is not found in human institutions or traditions but in the body of Christ, which is made up of all true believers, regardless of denomination. Jesus prayed for our unity in John 17:20-23, that we may be one even as He and the Father are one. This unity is spiritual, rooted in our shared faith in Christ, not in organizational structures or rituals. The early church was united not by a central human authority but by their devotion to the apostles' teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayers (Acts 2:42). We must seek unity in truth, not in compromise or tradition.

The loneliness and depression you are experiencing are real and painful, and we understand the desire to find purpose and peace. However, these things are not found in religious systems or human traditions but in a personal, saving relationship with Jesus Christ. He is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6), and He alone can fill the void in your heart. The Catholic Church, like any human institution, cannot provide the deep, abiding peace that comes from knowing Christ and walking in His truth. True purpose is found in living for His glory, not in rituals or traditions.

We also want to encourage you regarding your autism and the pain you’ve endured from bullying and rumors. You are fearfully and wonderfully made by God (Psalm 139:14), and He has a purpose for your life. The trials you have faced are not in vain; God uses all things for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the repentant heart of Your child. We praise You that You are faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Lord, we lift up this precious soul to You, asking that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit and lead them into all truth. Guard their heart and mind from deception, and open their eyes to see the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ (2 Corinthians 11:3). Father, we ask that You would reveal to them the sufficiency of Your Word and the completeness of Your Son’s work on the cross. Let them find their identity, purpose, and peace in Christ alone.

Lord, we rebuke the enemy’s lies that would lead Your child into bondage through human traditions and empty rituals. Break every chain of legalism and religious pride, and set them free to worship You in spirit and in truth. Father, we ask that You would surround them with godly, Bible-believing brothers and sisters who can disciple them in Your Word and walk alongside them in faith. Heal the wounds of bullying, rejection, and loneliness, and fill them with Your love and acceptance.

We pray for clarity and wisdom as they seek Your will. Close every door that would lead them away from the truth of Your Word, and open the door wide to a deeper, more intimate relationship with You. Let them experience the joy of Your salvation and the freedom that comes from knowing Christ. Strengthen them to stand firm in the faith, rooted and built up in Him (Colossians 2:6-7).

Father, we also lift up their struggles with sexual immorality, drunkenness, and other sins. We ask that You would break the power of these strongholds and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. Create in them a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10). Let them walk in the freedom and victory that Christ has purchased for them.

We declare that You are their Father, and they are Your beloved child. Let them find their rest in You alone. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We urge you to test everything by Scripture (Acts 17:11) and to seek the Lord earnestly in prayer. The path to true peace and purpose is not found in religious systems but in a personal, saving relationship with Jesus Christ. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6), and no one comes to the Father except through Him. We encourage you to find a Bible-believing church that preaches the Word of God faithfully and seeks to live under its authority alone. Surround yourself with believers who will point you to Christ and walk with you in accountability and love.

If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith solely in Jesus Christ for salvation. Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved (Acts 16:31). Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Rest in His finished work on the cross, and let Him be your all in all.

Dear friend, we join you in praying to our Heavenly Father, knowing that He is a God of mercy and grace. We are grateful for your heartfelt confession and your desire to walk in righteousness. Let us remember together the words of the apostle John, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

We are also moved by your struggle with loneliness and depression, and we want to assure you that God sees you and cares for you deeply. In His love letter to us, the Bible, He promises, "Cast your cares upon the Lord, for He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). Trust in Him, for He is faithful and will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5-6).

As you consider the path of Catholicism, we encourage you to seek the Lord with all your heart, mind, and soul. Test every spirit and every teaching against the Word of God (1 Thessalonians 5:21, 1 John 4:1). While there are many beautiful aspects of the Catholic faith, it is crucial to ensure that any path you choose aligns with the truth of Scripture.

Remember, our unity as believers is not found in human institutions or traditions but in our shared faith in Jesus Christ (John 17:20-23, Ephesians 4:4-6). Let us strive for unity in truth, not in compromise or tradition.

Lastly, we want to remind you that true purpose and peace are found in a personal, saving relationship with Jesus Christ. He is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6), and He alone can fill the void in your heart. Trust in Him, and He will guide you and direct your path (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Let us pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come before You today, lifting up our dear sister/brother to You. We thank You for her/his repentant heart and for Your unfailing love and mercy. Fill her/him with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and guide her/him into all truth. Guard her/his heart and mind from deception, and open her/his eyes to see the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ. Reveal to her/him the sufficiency of Your Word and the completeness of Your Son's work on the cross. Let her/him find her/his identity, purpose, and peace in Christ alone.

Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of legalism and religious pride, and set her/him free to worship You in spirit and in truth. Surround her/him with godly, Bible-believing brothers and sisters who can disciple her/him in Your Word and walk alongside her/him in faith. Heal the wounds of bullying, rejection, and loneliness, and fill her/him with Your love and acceptance.

Father, we pray for clarity and wisdom as she/he seeks Your will. Close every door that would lead her/him away from the truth of Your Word, and open the door wide to a deeper, more intimate relationship with You. Let her/him experience the joy of Your salvation and the freedom that comes from knowing Christ. Strengthen her/him to stand firm in the faith, rooted and built up in Him.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen."
