We join you in committing this month into God's hands, trusting in His sovereignty and goodness. It is wonderful that you acknowledge Jesus and the necessity of involving Him in every aspect of your life. We are reminded of Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ. We commit this month and every aspect of their life into Your capable hands. We pray that You will help them stay unworried, trusting in Your provision and care.
We commit their family into Your hands, asking for Your protection, preservation, and abundance upon their lives. We declare Psalm 91:10-11 over them: "No evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."
We surrender their finances and the finances of their family to You, trusting in Your promise in Philippians 4:19 WEB: "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We ask that You be their provider, helping them not to worry about how to get money, but to trust in You.
We commit their education and studies into Your hands, praying for excellence and a spirit of critical thinking. We ask that You help them not to resist this course, but to excel in it, for Your glory.
We lift up their worries to You, asking that You help them subside in Jesus' name. We claim the peace that surpasses all understanding, as promised in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We bless You, Lord, for all You do. We ask that You continue to keep them from falling, and be magnified in their life.
We lift up this prayer believing that our brother or sister in Christ will grow and walk in Your will and way.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to cast your cares upon the Lord, knowing that He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
Remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. We are told in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, as told in Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB: "for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast."
We are reminded in Romans 10:9 WEB: "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
And if you have not done so, it is important you believe in Jesus Christ and what he did for you on the cross and God raised Jesus from the grave conquering death for you.
