Dear God, I pray that you will help me change direction

Dear God, I pray that you will help me change direction in life and walk with You instead of in the path of destruction I've been taking. I am caught up in a lifestyle that does not glorify You and every day I feel I've fallen further and further from you and am too ashamed to ask for help in seeking you from believers in my life because I feel like I have been completely unworthy for the past few years. Please help me find people in my life who will help me becom closer to you rather than drag me further down. I want to yearn for You with all my heart instead of for these worldly things. I don't know how this works but I want to surrender to you and hopefully you will receive me and forgive me for my transgressions and make me whole again. Amen

Dear one , the bible tells us that ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God , you will never go so far in sin that that Holy Spirit of God will not be waiting to bring you back to the Lord again . All you need to do is to simply ask His forgiveness with a sincere heart and to repent . He is always waiting for His children who have strayed to come back to Him . Find a full bible teaching church and surround yourself with other Christians who will help encourage your walk with the Lord . Ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand when you read the bible , and then pray every chance you get , He longs to have fellowship with you . Blessings !
