Dear God, Dear Jesus. I pray for my mother (Thomai) who has recently been dating a new man & moved him in with her before introducing him to my brothers & I. The 1st time I met him, he was confrontational with me knowing that I am pregnant. He does not seem genuine. Our attempts to talk to her & to convince her to leave him & protect herself financially have failed. She is so infatuated with him. I pray that God & Jesus give my mother the wisdom to see him for who he really is & the strength to remove him from her life. I pray that God & Jesus bring her a good man who truly cares for her.

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit.
