It could have a physiological element. Read book by Mark Starr,M.D., called Hypothyroidism Type 2. You will need to see a holistic practitioner to get treated adequately if it is thyroid/adrenal (many depressions and mental issues are related to the function of the thyroid and adrenal glands.

Also, make sure to keep your Vitamin D blood levels in the 70 ng/mL level. For most adults not getting much sun, especially in the winter, you need 5000 to 10,000 IU daily to keep it there. (The level for too high is over 95.)

Take 2,000 mg to 5,000 mg of Vitamin C daily.

Get your thyroid and Vitamin D levels measured at conventional doc office then go holistic for treatment.
