We are truly blessed to join you in interceding for your dear friend. The power of salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Let us come together in prayer and biblical encouragement for her situation.
Firstly, we must acknowledge the work of the Holy Spirit in your friend's life. It is only through His power that hearts are changed and eyes are opened to the truth of the Gospel. As Jesus said in John 16:8 WEB, "When he has come, he will convince the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment." We trust that the Holy Spirit is working even in the hardened parts of her heart.
Secondly, we must remember that the cost of following Jesus may be high, but the reward is eternal life. Jesus warned us in Matthew 10:37-39 WEB, "He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me isn’t worthy of me. He who doesn’t take his cross and follow after me isn’t worthy of me. He who seeks his life will lose it; and he who loses his life for my sake will find it." Your friend may face tremendous challenges, but the Lord will be with her, giving her the strength to endure.
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear friend to You. Lord, we ask that You soften her heart and remove any barriers that prevent her from knowing the truth of Your love in Christ Jesus. We ask, Lord, that You reveal Yourself to her in a powerful way, that she may know the freedom and salvation that comes from You alone.
We also pray for her family, that their hearts too may be open to the Gospel, and that they would come to know the love and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. We ask that You provide divine opportunities for her to hear the Gospel and be drawn to Your saving grace.
We rebuke the enemy's work in her life and her family, and we claim victory in Jesus' name. We know that You are a loving God who wants all to come to repentance and knowledge of the Truth. We are trusting in Your power to make this a reality in her life.
We also pray for our friend who submitted this request. May they be braver and continue to share Jesus. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Continue to share the love of Christ with your friend, and trust that the Lord is working in her life, even when it seems hard. Remind her that God loves her deeply and desires a personal relationship with her through Jesus Christ. Be strong and courageous in your faith, and may the Lord use you mightily in her life, but also be sure to take opportunities to share Christ in love and truth.
