Dear Father in Heaven,

Learn us not to pray for the things of this earth : health of body, wealth, fame, good marriage. But learn us to pray to become wise. To seek the things which are above. Learn us to pray for a clean heart and a right spirit within us. Learn us to pray for the salvation of our souls and those who are without God or hope in this world. Let us seek the things of eternity instead of being captured by the things of time. Learn us above all to price the Lord Jesus Christ as our all in all. I beg Thee this in the name of your precious Son Jesus Christ. Amen
