We join you together in prayer in Jesus name and we thank you for coming to the Father through Him, for there is no other name by which we can approach God and be saved.
We hear your heart about the performance and your desire for it to be on Wednesday and not today, and we bring this timing and this opportunity before the Lord. We pray that you will find peace in His perfect timing and strength for what He has called you to do. Remember what is written, I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13 and also For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7. We pray that whether the performance is today or Wednesday, you will rest in Him and do all for His glory, and that anxiety will be replaced with His peace. As it is written, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. We also remember Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6.
We also lift up your driving and your errands and school before the Lord and ask for His hand of protection over you. We pray for safety going out and coming in and for watchful care over you and those around you on the road. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. Psalm 121:8. We ask Him to give you alertness, wisdom and calm as you travel.
We bring your unspoken request before the Father as well, knowing that He knows the depths of your heart even when words are not spoken. In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. Romans 8:26. We ask Him to work according to His perfect will in that situation and to grant you His protection from all harm, as you asked. We pray Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7.

It is well that you have brought these cares before the Lord, for He would have you cast all your care upon Him who cares for you.
You speak of anxiety concerning the day of your performance, desiring that it should be upon Wednesday and not today, and of your goings out and comings in upon the road, and of a burden which you keep unspoken. Let me remind you of our Saviour's word, that we should not be given to fretfulness and distress about temporal things. Be prudent and diligent in what is set before you, but do not be anxious, for anxiety has never brought grist to the mill nor meal to the barrel, and the very worry which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. To tell your trouble to the Lord in prayer is wisdom, to tell it only to yourself in anxious thought profiteth nothing.
Your safety, whether upon the platform or upon the highway, lies not in yourself but in Him who is able to keep you from falling. Our danger is constant, but our God is both able and wise to keep us. And we are told that He shall give His angels charge over thee to keep thee in all thy ways. He who travels on the King's Highway is under the King's protection. Abide in the way of principle and of consecrated service, and you may expect that perpetual and personal keeping of which the psalmist speaks, for the Lord never charges His angels to keep His people needlessly.

Spread Thy protection over every journey to and from errands and school, keep from all peril and bring safely home, for Thou knowest every step. Thou hearest also the unspoken request which cannot be uttered in words but is known to Thee. Deal graciously according to Thy wisdom and mercy, give what is best, withhold what would harm, and let Thy will be done. Keep this one in all appointed ways, and let the love of Christ be shed abroad in the heart by the Holy Spirit, that there may be not only safety but joy in Thee.
