Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ. While I am thankful for your continued prayers today I feel as if someone or something has let all the air out of my balloon. I guess the enemy didn’t like seeing me feeling good about myself or about the progress I seemed to have been making with regards to my walk with our Lord. As such I urge you to continue holding me up in prayer and ask our Heavenly Father to help me specifically with doing a superb job at work, help with my health and finances, and help with my upcoming court case. As I’ve mentioned before, I really do not want to go to jail, and based on the level of guilt I do not believe jail time fits the crime. Please also ask our Lord to touch and soften the hearts of those involved in the case and cause each of them to proceed with an attitude to forgiveness, mercy, and leniency. If it is at all possible, please ask God to cause the judge and the prosecuting attorney to either drop the case or offer a reasonable plea arraignment.
I would also ask that you continue to pray for Farhan, his family, and his congregation. He lives and preaches in a predominantly Muslim country and they all face constant persecution. Even though I know God has his Hand on their lives, I still worry a bit about their safety and well-being. Ask God to bless them all in a very special way.
Still no word on Rob, however I trust God has helped him through his surgery and is with him during his time of recovery and possible rehabilitation.
Please pray also for Bill and Greg. They both need God’s help in winning the battle over the flesh.
