Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ. The longer I live the more it becomes obvious to me that I’m easily distracted. I have a feeling if I had an MP3 player attached to my ears and I was listening to someone preaching the Word of God I’d still be wandering off the beaten path and falling flat on my face wondering what happened. Please ask our Heavenly Father to help me stay focused on Him and not on the things of this worldly realm that are truly unimportant in the scheme of things.
I especially would ask that you pray for my shoulder. I’m going in for an MRI next Thursday which will hopefully give the doctors a clue as to not only what’s wrong, but how to make the pain go away. I injured the shoulder about a year ago, but I’ve been experiencing chronic shoulder pain with a very limited range of motion for over six-months now. I can’t sleep, and honestly it’s making me very grumpy.
Pray also for the rash on my chest, my knee pain, my neck pain (which is probably connected to my shoulder pain), the fact that I’m exceedingly out of shape (and about 70 pounds overweight), I need new glasses, I need a lot of dental work, and I’ve suffered too many concussions.
Pray for me as I’m really not feeling well this evening. I’m not sure what it is, however in my mind it’s either cancer or a problem with my heart. Truth be told I think these are the lies of the enemy but it’s causing me unnecessary worry. Ask God to heal my body.
Please ask God to open some doors so that I can go back to working as a photographer and reporter in a small weekly paper in my community. A few years back I made a foolish decision and walked away from that job. The pay wasn’t great, but I truly miss working as a journalist. Please ask God to help me to mend the bridges I burned and to get back out on the street as a reporter.
Please pray for David, his family, his Texas Hold’em playing friends, and his employees who all seem to think it’s absolutely fine to make veiled threats against folks in town who don’t see eye to eye with them, and who seem to enjoy damaging people’s reputations by spread ugly and vicious rumors and outright lies about them just because they disagree with the way they do things here in tow. Ask God to cause them to repent and to start building up the community instead of tearing things apart.
I also need prayer in the area of my mental or psychological issues which include paranoia, bursts of anger, limited tolerance to any change in routine, memory issues, and bouts with depression.
Ask God to help me restore the neglected relationships with family members, especially my daughter, son, and dad. With that in mind, please pray for my dad, mom, step mom, former step mom, cousins, aunt and uncle, nephews, ex-wives, son, daughter, half-brothers, sister and brother-in-law, half-daughter, former step-children, and the countless distant relatives. Ask that God’s Will be done in all of their lives.
Pray for the folks I know, the folks I deal with, and the folks I hear about who cannot seem to understand how God could send His Only Begotten Son to die on a Cross so that I (we) can have Everlasting Life (through Jesus) and yet they have no problem what-so-ever seeking help from mystics and fortune tellers, bogus deities, astrologers, numerologists, tarot card readers, and believe in things such as reincarnation and transmigration, UFOs and extra-terrestrials, alien abductions, Wicca, countless spiritualists, and mythology. Pray that I wouldn’t be so short with these folks too.
For those of you who have been praying for Dosha (who recently went under the knife), she’s recovering well from her surgery. She’s a sweetheart, please continue praying for her.
Pray for Farhan, his family, and his congregation. These folks live, work, and worship in a war-torn and predominantly Muslim country. They face daily persecution.
Pray for the little girl Izzy who is recovering from a broken ankle.
Please pray for Kathleen and her children. Although it was a while ago, she lost her husband, they lost their dad to cancer. She is looking for a new place to live. Her husband was apparently a retired veteran of the US Army. Remember them all on Memorial Day.
Pray for Liz, her mom, and her siblings. This kid has been doing time for over a year in a state prison. She’s got about nine months left on her sentence. Ask God to help her and her entire family make it through the rest of her incarceration.
Pray for Leighanne who is recovering from a stroke. She’s having financial issues too since she still cannot work.
Pray for Elizabeth who is also having money issues. She is also attempting to raise two autistic boys.
Pray for Kelly and his family. He almost killed himself in a quad accident. I hear he’s stable, but haven’t heard anything since the accident.
Pray for those who serve and protect us. They may or may not be wearing a uniform (they probably do). I’m speaking of those folks who work in law enforcement as police officers, sheriff’s deputies, constables, marshals, sheriffs, border and customs officers, forest and park rangers, security officer, corrections officers, and parking and traffic control officers; pray too for those who work as firefighters, EMTs, EMS, Paramedics, Search and Rescue, and Volunteers; and members of our military services like the Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines, Army, Reservists, and National Guard; and all of the Retirees, Veterans, and their family members; plus any and all of their overseas or foreign counterparts.
Pray for Twana, Mary, and Sharaz and ask God to help them to do a better job a work so they can keep their jobs. Ask God to help me to do a better job too.
Please pray for Virginia who has been begging, borrowing, and stealing tidy sums of cash and other belongings from folks. Ask God to help her to make things right.
Pray for Bobbie, Phil, Darrel, Karen, Oden, Barry, and any other musician that might find themselves led by God to participate in a revival in my community.
Pray for the families and friends of Chris, Ryan, Eddie, Sam, Freedom, Ted, Rob, Jane, John, Erika, Carol, and RC. These folks recently passed away and their survivors need our Heavenly Father’s help in dealing with their losses.
Pray for Brad, a recovering drug addict and a thief. Ask God to help him to stay clean and sober, to find a good job so he doesn’t have to steal as a way to make a living, and help him to make amends with those he owes repayment to.
Pray for Eddie and his wife who had to recently shut down their local business.
Pray for Bridgette who is attempting to keep her small business, a preschool up and running. She’s having a tough time of it.
Pray for the survivors of the Oso, Washington mudslide. Pray for those assisting in the rescue and recovery operations as well. Pray for those folks living in and around the areas of the wildfires in southern California. Pray for those souls fighting the fires too. And let’s not forget to pray for those living in and around Ukraine.
Please pray for Chris who is a recovering addict and former dealer.

I especially would ask that you pray for my shoulder. I’m going in for an MRI next Thursday which will hopefully give the doctors a clue as to not only what’s wrong, but how to make the pain go away. I injured the shoulder about a year ago, but I’ve been experiencing chronic shoulder pain with a very limited range of motion for over six-months now. I can’t sleep, and honestly it’s making me very grumpy.
Pray also for the rash on my chest, my knee pain, my neck pain (which is probably connected to my shoulder pain), the fact that I’m exceedingly out of shape (and about 70 pounds overweight), I need new glasses, I need a lot of dental work, and I’ve suffered too many concussions.
Pray for me as I’m really not feeling well this evening. I’m not sure what it is, however in my mind it’s either cancer or a problem with my heart. Truth be told I think these are the lies of the enemy but it’s causing me unnecessary worry. Ask God to heal my body.
Please ask God to open some doors so that I can go back to working as a photographer and reporter in a small weekly paper in my community. A few years back I made a foolish decision and walked away from that job. The pay wasn’t great, but I truly miss working as a journalist. Please ask God to help me to mend the bridges I burned and to get back out on the street as a reporter.
Please pray for David, his family, his Texas Hold’em playing friends, and his employees who all seem to think it’s absolutely fine to make veiled threats against folks in town who don’t see eye to eye with them, and who seem to enjoy damaging people’s reputations by spread ugly and vicious rumors and outright lies about them just because they disagree with the way they do things here in tow. Ask God to cause them to repent and to start building up the community instead of tearing things apart.
I also need prayer in the area of my mental or psychological issues which include paranoia, bursts of anger, limited tolerance to any change in routine, memory issues, and bouts with depression.
Ask God to help me restore the neglected relationships with family members, especially my daughter, son, and dad. With that in mind, please pray for my dad, mom, step mom, former step mom, cousins, aunt and uncle, nephews, ex-wives, son, daughter, half-brothers, sister and brother-in-law, half-daughter, former step-children, and the countless distant relatives. Ask that God’s Will be done in all of their lives.
Pray for the folks I know, the folks I deal with, and the folks I hear about who cannot seem to understand how God could send His Only Begotten Son to die on a Cross so that I (we) can have Everlasting Life (through Jesus) and yet they have no problem what-so-ever seeking help from mystics and fortune tellers, bogus deities, astrologers, numerologists, tarot card readers, and believe in things such as reincarnation and transmigration, UFOs and extra-terrestrials, alien abductions, Wicca, countless spiritualists, and mythology. Pray that I wouldn’t be so short with these folks too.
For those of you who have been praying for Dosha (who recently went under the knife), she’s recovering well from her surgery. She’s a sweetheart, please continue praying for her.
Pray for Farhan, his family, and his congregation. These folks live, work, and worship in a war-torn and predominantly Muslim country. They face daily persecution.
Pray for the little girl Izzy who is recovering from a broken ankle.
Please pray for Kathleen and her children. Although it was a while ago, she lost her husband, they lost their dad to cancer. She is looking for a new place to live. Her husband was apparently a retired veteran of the US Army. Remember them all on Memorial Day.
Pray for Liz, her mom, and her siblings. This kid has been doing time for over a year in a state prison. She’s got about nine months left on her sentence. Ask God to help her and her entire family make it through the rest of her incarceration.
Pray for Leighanne who is recovering from a stroke. She’s having financial issues too since she still cannot work.
Pray for Elizabeth who is also having money issues. She is also attempting to raise two autistic boys.
Pray for Kelly and his family. He almost killed himself in a quad accident. I hear he’s stable, but haven’t heard anything since the accident.
Pray for those who serve and protect us. They may or may not be wearing a uniform (they probably do). I’m speaking of those folks who work in law enforcement as police officers, sheriff’s deputies, constables, marshals, sheriffs, border and customs officers, forest and park rangers, security officer, corrections officers, and parking and traffic control officers; pray too for those who work as firefighters, EMTs, EMS, Paramedics, Search and Rescue, and Volunteers; and members of our military services like the Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines, Army, Reservists, and National Guard; and all of the Retirees, Veterans, and their family members; plus any and all of their overseas or foreign counterparts.
Pray for Twana, Mary, and Sharaz and ask God to help them to do a better job a work so they can keep their jobs. Ask God to help me to do a better job too.
Please pray for Virginia who has been begging, borrowing, and stealing tidy sums of cash and other belongings from folks. Ask God to help her to make things right.
Pray for Bobbie, Phil, Darrel, Karen, Oden, Barry, and any other musician that might find themselves led by God to participate in a revival in my community.
Pray for the families and friends of Chris, Ryan, Eddie, Sam, Freedom, Ted, Rob, Jane, John, Erika, Carol, and RC. These folks recently passed away and their survivors need our Heavenly Father’s help in dealing with their losses.
Pray for Brad, a recovering drug addict and a thief. Ask God to help him to stay clean and sober, to find a good job so he doesn’t have to steal as a way to make a living, and help him to make amends with those he owes repayment to.
Pray for Eddie and his wife who had to recently shut down their local business.
Pray for Bridgette who is attempting to keep her small business, a preschool up and running. She’s having a tough time of it.
Pray for the survivors of the Oso, Washington mudslide. Pray for those assisting in the rescue and recovery operations as well. Pray for those folks living in and around the areas of the wildfires in southern California. Pray for those souls fighting the fires too. And let’s not forget to pray for those living in and around Ukraine.
