Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Many thanks for your continued prayers. As requested previously please pray for my son and granddaughter who are unsuccessfully dealing with the suicide of my granddaughter's mom. Continue praying for me too. I've got a list of needs which include my physical and emotional health, my job, my family, and more specifically pray that my shoulder issue would be dealt with soon. I've made an appointment to see a different surgeon. I hope an pray this one with not only be capable, but honest too. Pray for my eyes and teeth too. Pray for my health as I’m about 70 pounds overweight, my teeth and gums are bad, my knees are bad, I need glasses, I need to eat better, I need to exercise, and I need to mend a bunch of fences in the relationship area (emotional and/or psychological issues abound in my brain). I’ve suffered far too many concussions, I used way too many illegal drugs, and I sure need to get my shoulder fixed. I’m a convicted felon, been married and divorced three-times, and I can’t seem to take care of my finances. At the present time I live in a rundown trailer on family property with no real plumbing and can only prepare meals in a microwave. Don’t get me wrong, I’m thankful for what I have, it’s just I’m feeling like a flake and would really like to see God help me out of this situation I’ve gotten myself into. Please pray for my family, especially my dad, step-mom, stepsister, mom, sister and brother in law, nephews, half-brothers, half-daughter, son, daughter, ex-wives, ex-step-children, aunt and uncle, cousins, and the countless distant and not so-distant relatives I have not mentioned. The entire family could definitely use a lot of prayer. Ask God to help me do a better job at work. Please ask God to help me to be nicer to people and to lose the judgmental attitude. Please pray for my mom. She won’t admit it, but her health is declining. She’s miserable too. So filled with hatred toward people and groups she thinks are responsible for all of the ills in the world. Pray for Reni who just lost her husband in a motorcycle accident. Pray for her family as well. Please ask God to help me to find the right words when I’m dealing with folks who would rather not believe in the God of the Bible, who would deny any and all Truth in the Bible yet they find it far too easy to believe every foolish lie and every outright conspiracy theory that pops up on their computer, TV, or newspaper page. They readily believe and willingly follow every new Supernatural New Age belief system that comes along. The hold fast to Wiccan traditions, consult Tarot cards and practitioners of Astrology and Numerology. Believing in God’s Word is foolish, yet they anxiously await word from long dead philosophers, friends, and relatives through mediums or soothsayers and those with the “gift†of clairvoyance. They seek approval from mythological deities, believe in UFOs and extra-terrestrials, and know for certain that the galactic federation will visit us soon to resolve all of the ills that plague our society. Please pray for Roxanne who had to resign her post because of her failing health. Please pray for David, his brother Jack, the rest of his family, his acquaintances, his employees, and his gambling buddies who feel they are not only above the law, but feel they have not only the right, but the duty to ridicule and insult those who don’t see eye to eye with the way they perform countless questionable business practices and outright illegal activities. These folks take great pride in publically making veiled threats toward those who disagree with them while shaking their hands or giving them a big hug in public. These are evil people who are doing serious harm to our community. They enjoy spreading damaging rumors and telling vicious and terrible lies about the good people of our community. Ask God to cause them to repent and start fixing the damage they’ve done. Please ask God to close them down before someone gets hurt. Please keep praying for Bobby and Lynette. He’s been in the hospital for a while. He needs a healing, they both need a blessing. They’re probably in need of some financial help as well. Pray for their kids too. Please pray for Kevin. He has some serious control and anger issues that appear to be destroying his family. Pray for Chris. He’s a former high school drug dealer and a recovering addict. Please pray for my mom and her boyfriend Tom. He has some fairly serious health issues and I’m afraid he may not be around too much longer. Ask that God’s Will be done in both of their lives. Pray for Leighanne who is not only recovering from a stroke, but is in serious financial hardship as well. Please pray for Liz and her family. This poor kid is finally out of prison and needs help getting her life back together. Help her entire family. Please pray for Megan and her children. Her husband is going to prison for about three years and she’s got a lot to deal with such as raising her three or four girls by herself, etc. Pray for Sharon who is facing some legal issues. Ask that God’s Will be done in her life. Pray for Kelly. He’s recovering from a quad accident that nearly cost him his life. Pray for his family too. Please pray for Mary Kate. She’s battling cancer. Pray for her family too. Pray for Tori as she is getting ready to move away for her long-time home and head to the island of Hawaii. Pray for Danielle, who is leaving our community. Pray for Candace who really needs an attitude adjustment, just like her brothers Brad and Chris. Pray for our elected officials at all levels of government (federal, state, county, local; and the overseas or foreign equivalents too). Ask God to help them to make the right decisions to benefit mankind. Pray also for those who serve and protect us, also at the local, county, state, and federal levels, plus the foreign or overseas counterparts, including police officers, sheriff’s deputies, constables, marshals, sheriffs, border and customs officers, forest and park rangers, security officer, corrections officers, and parking and traffic control officers; pray also for those working as firefighters, EMTs, EMS, Paramedics, Search and Rescue, and Volunteers. Please pray for those in uniform, the ones who serve and protect us. I’m talking about the members of our armed forces like the Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines, Army, Reservists, and National Guard; and all of the Retirees, Veterans, and their family members; plus any and all of their overseas or foreign counterparts. Please pray for Kathleen and her children. They have all had a rough time of it with the loss of her husband (a retired Army veteran) to cancer. Pray for Farhan, his family, and his congregation up in prayer. These folks are living, worshipping, and working in a war-torn, predominantly Muslim part of the world. They face daily persecution and need our prayers. Please pray for Elizabeth who is experiencing some financial hardship. She is also trying to raise two autistic kids. Ask God to help Mary, Bridget, Tricia, Twana, and Sharaz to do a better job at work so they can keep their jobs. Please let His Will be done in their lives. Pray for Brad who is a common thief and drug dealer. He’s an addict too. Ask God to help him stay clean and sober, and to make restitution when possible. Please hold Virginia up in prayer. She’s spent the last 10 years of her life making very poor choices. The result, she has begged, borrowed and stolen substantial amounts of money from friends and family and has never made an effort to repay that which she has stolen. Ask God to help her take responsibility for her actions. Please ask God to cause musicians like Bobby, Phil, Darryl, Karen, Barry, and Oden to participate in such a gathering of Born Again performers. Please pray for the close friends, co-workers, and family of Dane, Al, Andrew, Michael, Lester, Mike, Chris, Ryan, Eddie, Sam, Freedom, Ted, Rob, Jane, John, Erika, Carol, RC and Jennifer. These folks recently passed away and their survivors need our Heavenly Father’s help in dealing with their losses. Pray for Bridget whose boyfriend has apparently been inappropriately physical with her (she’s filed for a restraining order). Pray for her boyfriend’s kids too (they are living with her now). She is also working herself to death trying to keep her business afloat. Please pray for a decorated and retired military veteran named Eddie and his wife. These fine folks had to close down their family run, local business. He has a “new†job now and is handling the change in status quite well. Ask God to Bless him and his family. Pray for the folks living in and around Ukraine. The turmoil seems unending for them. Pray for the situation in Ferguson, and St. Louis, MO. Only our Heavenly Father can fix that mess. Pray too for the earthquake victims in the Napa, CA area. I ask this all in Jesus Name. Amen.
