Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ. As always I thank God for all of you who continue to pray for me. While it’s been a couple of rough days it’s only because I allowed it to be. Please ask God to help me to focus on the things that are important, that being Him.
I do ask you to keep praying for me, for my finances, my health and well-being, my job, and my upcoming court case. The big day is in early February and I’m beginning to feel as if it might be best if I swallow my pride and opt out with a plea agreement with the prosecuting attorney. I honestly don’t know what to do. I definitely don’t want to go to jail. However, I don’t know that I really want to drag up a bunch of dirt on someone else. I’m starting to feel as if I should leave that up to our Heavenly Father. As such I do ask that you continue to ask God to keep touching and softening the hearts of those involved, especially those who are spreading the vicious lies and rumors about me, those who want to see me go to jail, and the team of attorneys and the judge who are acting in this way based on the blatant accusations of those who are attempting to make the things I did look far worse in an effort to cover the questionable business practices they themselves are guilty of committing. I am confident this will all come out in the end.
I also ask you to pray for the family and congregation of Farhan. He just turned 23 the other day. His ministry is in a predominantly Muslim country. So I ask you to pray for him and all of those who are dear to him.
Hold Rob up in prayer too. I haven’t yet heard how his brain surgery went. Hold him and his family up in prayer.
