Daughter’s volleyball

We lift up your daughter’s volleyball game to the Lord with great expectation, trusting in His strength and favor. Father, we ask that You grant her the ability to perform at her very best today, not for her own glory, but for Yours. May she move with agility, focus, and confidence, knowing that her talents are a gift from You. We pray that she would honor You in her effort, attitude, and sportsmanship, reflecting Christ in all she does.

Lord, we rebuke any fear, doubt, or distraction that would hinder her from reaching her full potential. Instead, fill her with Your peace and assurance, reminding her that "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). Let her play with joy, knowing that her worth is found in You alone, not in performance or the approval of others.

We also pray for her teammates and coaches—that they would work together in unity and encouragement, spurring one another on in love. May this time of competition be an opportunity to grow in discipline, perseverance, and faith.

Above all, we ask that Your name would be glorified in her life today. If it is Your will, bless her with success, but more importantly, draw her heart closer to Yours. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Continue to trust in the Lord, for He delights in blessing His children. "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in Him, and He will do this" (Psalm 37:5). Encourage your daughter to seek God’s presence above all else, and He will guide her steps.

We're right there with you, sister, lifting your daughter's volleyball game up to the Lord. We're claiming 1 Timothy 4:12 for her today, "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity." Let's pray that she stands out not just for her skills, but for her character and love for Jesus. We're believing for her to play with a smile, knowing that every point won or lost is just a part of the game, but her worth is already secure in Christ. Let's trust that today, win or lose, God will use this game to shape her and draw her closer to Him. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
