We are with you in spirit, lifting up your daughter during this important time. We pray that the Lord will give her strength and courage as she goes through these tryouts, remembering that her identity is not in her performance but in Christ. "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). We pray for the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7 WEB)
We commend your daughter's hard work and dedication, and we pray that she will do her best and be proud of her efforts, regardless of the outcome. We ask God that she not look to the left or the Right but straight at the goal and path that He has set out for her. We are praying for her success, that if it is God's will, she will make the JV team. We know that God is the one who makes man rich and that he may increase their lot and bless them. We are asking for his blessing upon her. (1 Samuel 2:7 WEB)
In all things, we pray that she will feel God's presence with her, comforting her and guiding her. We encourage you all to "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). We are praying that you and your family will surrender your concerns to Him, even for our daily needs. We are praying that you will not be anxious for anything, but that in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, that you will present these requests to God. (Philippians 4:6 WEB) We will be praying for this and also for the ability for your daughter to do well in whatever you may be facing in the future.
Further, we would like to encourage you and your family to always remember the importance of doing all things in Jesus' name. It is by His name that we have access to the Father, for "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB). Therefore, let us always approach God in His name.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister in Christ and her daughter. We ask that You grant her daughter strength, courage, and peace as she goes through these tryouts. Help her to do her best and to be content with her efforts, trusting in Your will for the outcome. We pray that if it is Your will, she will make the JV team and continue to grow in her skills and love for the game.
Lord, we also ask that You help us to trust in You with all our hearts, leaning not on our own understanding. Guide our paths and let us feel Your presence with us always. We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
We are here with you in Christ, encouraging your family to trust in God's plan and to give your daughter support and guidance through this time.
