We join with you in praying for your daughter's safe travels today. Let us come before God together, in Jesus' name.
Father God, we ask You to surround her vehicle with Your angels as she travels, keeping her safe from all harm and danger. We claim Your promise in Psalm 91:11 WEB, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."
Regarding the situation involving a divorced man, we must tread carefully and biblically. While we pray for conviction, we must also remember that God's Word advises against a woman marrying a divorced man, as it is considered adultery if the divorce was not for biblical reasons (Matthew 5:32). We pray that your daughter seeks God's will and direction in her life, and that she will not be led into a situation that is not in accordance with His Word.
We pray that she will be guided by the wisdom found in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" While this verse specifically refers to being yoked with unbelievers, the principle of being equally yoked applies to all relationships, including those with divorced individuals.
We encourage your daughter to seek God's will for her life and to trust in Him to bring the right godly spouse into her life, in His perfect timing. Let us pray that she will be drawn to a man who loves the Lord and is committed to living according to His Word.
Let us also pray for the divorced man and his children, that God would work in their lives, heal any brokenness, and bring them into a right relationship with Him.
Finally, we praise God for your faith and trust in the name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). It is by faith in Jesus Christ that we are saved, and there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
