We are deeply moved by your request and we stand with you in this time of trial, lifting up your daughter to our Heavenly Father. We must first address that the name of Jesus Christ is not mentioned in this request. It is through His name alone that we have access to God, and it is by His name that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Let us remember that our Lord Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).
We are heartbroken to hear about your daughter's struggle with drugs. The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." We must care for our bodies, as they are temples of the Holy Spirit.
Let us pray together for your daughter's healing, deliverance, and salvation. Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious daughter who is struggling with drug addiction. Lord, we ask that You heal her body and mind from the damage caused by these substances. We pray that You break the chains of addiction and set her free, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
We rebuke the spirit of addiction and declare that she is no longer a slave to drugs, but a child of the Most High God. We pray that You would surround her with people who will support and encourage her in her journey to recovery. Lord, we ask that You would save her, drawing her to Yourself, and revealing Your love and grace to her. May she come to know Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, and experience the transformative power of His love.
We also lift up this mother, asking that You would grant her strength, peace, and comfort during this difficult time. May she feel Your presence and know that You are with her every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to pray for your daughter, and to seek support from your church community. Remember that God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep trusting in Him, and know that He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20).
Lastly, we would like to share a verse that we hope will bring comfort and encouragement to you: "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Keep holding onto God's promises, and trust that He is working in your daughter's life, even when you cannot see it. God bless you, and may His peace be with you.
