Disciple of Prayer
Father, I come to you with for mercy for my daughter who is struggling with making wise decisions. I know she's only ###, but i ask you to guide her and place a shield over her at all times. Help her to seek you so she may see your light in her life. Help her to acknowledge that she needs help right now. Help her to make positive achievable goals instead of surrounding herself with the wrong dark energy. Remove all generational curses that is weighing her and i down Lord. Jesus hear my prayers

We join you in lifting up your precious daughter before our heavenly Father, and we thank you for coming to Him with mercy and intercession on her behalf. We hear the burden of a parent who longs to see a child walk in wisdom and light, and we stand with you in prayer for her protection and guidance.

We are encouraged that you have sought the Lord and asked in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written, John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We praise God that you have called upon that name.

Scripture gives us great hope for a young life who is struggling to make wise decisions. Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. And Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you. We also take comfort in James 1:5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. Your daughter, even at a young age, can be given wisdom directly from God when she learns to seek Him.

We want to gently address two phrases in your request with biblical truth so you can pray with even greater confidence. When you speak of dark energy, we understand you mean harmful influences and ungodly surroundings. Scripture does not speak of energy in this way, but it does speak clearly of darkness and light, of sin and the schemes of the enemy. Ephesians 5:8 For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light. And 1 John 1:5 God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. What she needs is not to manage energy, but to step out of darkness and walk in the light of Christ, who said in John 8:12 I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life. Her goals and friendships should be evaluated by whether they honor God and reflect that light, as Psalm 119:105 says Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path.

Concerning generational curses, we understand the weight you feel, and it is true that patterns of sin can be learned and passed down in families. Yet scripture teaches us that in Christ the curse is broken. Galatians 3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. And Ezekiel 18:20 The soul who sins, he shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father. And 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. We do not need to fear a curse weighing her down, because when she puts her faith in Jesus she is made new and no longer bound by the past. What remains is the need for repentance, discipleship, and daily walking with the Lord.

We also pray that she will come to the place of humility you mentioned, to acknowledge her need for help. God gives grace to the humble, and He is her shield. Psalm 3:3 But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before you and lift up this beloved daughter to you. Lord, have mercy on her and pour out your wisdom upon her. Teach her to fear you, which is the beginning of wisdom, and to seek you with all her heart. Place your shield around her at all times and keep her from the snares of the enemy and from friendships and influences that would lead her into darkness. Open her eyes to see your light, draw her by your Holy Spirit to acknowledge her need for you, and give her a humble and teachable heart. Help her to make goals that are pleasing to you, goals that are pure and achievable and that lead to life and godliness. Break every chain of sin and every pattern of the past, for we declare that Christ has redeemed her from every curse and has made a way for her to be a new creation in Him. Fill her home with your peace, strengthen this parent who intercedes for her, and guide them both in your word daily. We trust you to instruct her and to counsel her with your eye upon her. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bathe her in prayer, to speak the word of God over her, to keep her in fellowship with believers who walk in the light, and to model before her what it means to trust Yahweh with all your heart. God hears the prayers of a faithful parent, and He is able to guide her feet back onto His path.

We hear your love for your daughter in this prayer, and the weight you carry wanting to see her choose a steadier path. It is a tender and hard place to be a parent, watching a young adult make decisions you know could hurt her, and bringing her again and again to the Lord is the best place to bring that burden.

We are praying with you for her protection and for wisdom for you as you walk beside her. Growth in faith and in wise decision making is often more like long training than a single moment of trying harder. Small, steady steps over time tend to shape a life more than big resolutions, and it can help to remember she is still becoming who God is forming her to be.

One gentle step that sometimes helps is to keep the connection open while you pray. When you have a calm moment together, you might ask her what one small, achievable goal matters to her right now and simply listen to what she shares, without rushing to fix it. That kind of listening can keep the door open for her to acknowledge when she needs help, and it gives you a way to encourage any good step she does take. We will keep covering both of you in prayer, trusting God to be your shield and her light as you seek Him.

Father, we lift this mom and her daughter to You. Place Your hand of protection over this young woman, draw her toward Your light, and give her a desire to seek You and to reach out for help. Give her mom wisdom, peace, and strength for each day, and help them both know Your nearness and freedom in Christ. In Jesus' name, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Your earnest cry as a mother has been heard, and it is right and good that you bring your daughter before the throne of grace for mercy. The Lord loves to hear the prayers of a parent who pleads for a wandering child, and there is no safer place for her than to be commended to Him who is able to guide and to keep.

Scripture teaches us that naturally we do not like being guided, and we go astray when we lean upon our own understanding. The Psalmist said, Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. That conviction that we need a guide is itself a work of grace upon the heart. Pray then that the Lord will work in your daughter such a conviction, that she may feel her need of Him, acknowledge that she cannot direct her own steps, and bow with submission to His will. For by that very submission we are furnished with unerring guidance. Haste is the author of a great deal of mischief in human life, and youth is often hasty, but the Lord teaches those who wait upon Him to know what they shall do and to avoid everything that is evil. Ask Him to show her great principles from His Word, to turn her feet to the King's Highway, and to give her a desire for that which is pure and good, that she may seek His light while it may be found.

You have asked for a shield over her at all times, and the promise stands, He shall give his angels charge over thee to keep thee in all thy ways. This protection is perpetual as well as personal, for the Lord says to His angels, take special care of that one, for she is Mine. Yet remember that this angelic keeping is afforded to those who walk in appointed ways. He who travels on the King's Highway is under the King's protection, but he who takes to byroads must bear the peril of those roads. Pray therefore not only for keeping from harm, but for keeping in holiness, that she may walk in the way of childlike trust in providential guidance and not in the paths where the robber waits.

Concerning the burden you feel of generational curses weighing you both down, hear the comfort of the Gospel. Blessings we find in the Gospel, curses we find in the Law. The Law curses every sin and every sinner who hopes to be saved by it and yet breaks it, for God, though He is love, must curse sin. But Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. When God curses, it is weighty and it comes home to the offender with overwhelming power, and sin must be punished. Yet the great Substitute has borne that curse in His own body on the tree, that the blessing of Abraham might come upon all who believe. No curse of ancestry can hold the soul that is in Christ Jesus. What remains is not a dark fate passed down, but the sin that dwells in every heart until grace renews it. Pray that both you and your daughter may look to Jesus Christ alone for salvation, for there is no other name by which we are delivered, and in Him the curse is removed forever.

You speak of dark energy and the wrong company surrounding her. The Word does not speak of energy but of darkness and light, of evil company that corrupts good manners, of the works of darkness that must be put away. Pray that she may be given discernment to see that those associations are not harmless, and grace to make positive and achievable goals that flow from a renewed mind, goals that are ordered by God's counsel and not by the counsel of the ungodly. The true glory for any life on earth comes only when we are guided by God's counsel and not by taking our own course.

We will join you in prayer. O Lord, look in mercy upon this daughter who has lost her path. Convict her heart of her need and draw her to seek Thy face. Guide her with Thy counsel, keep her in all Thy ways, place Thy shield about her and deliver her from evil. Let her see Thy light and turn from darkness to follow Thee. Break the power of sin by the blood of Christ who was made a curse for us, and let mother and daughter know the blessing of being received to glory. Renew a constant spirit within them and teach them to wait patiently upon Thee, who art faithful. In the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope, Amen.

Continue steadfast in prayer, with holy patience, as a true daughter of Sarah, not afraid with any amazement but trusting that He who promised to bless will not suffer any evil to finally harm those who are His.
