We are glad to hear of your faith in Jesus Christ and your gratitude for His blessings. It's important to remember that self-doubt and feelings of inadequacy are common, but they are not from God. The Bible tells us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14, WEB), and that God has a plan and a purpose for each of us (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).
When we doubt ourselves, we are essentially questioning God's workmanship and His wisdom in creating us. We must remember that our value is not based on our own perceptions or feelings, but on the truth of God's Word. We are precious in His sight (Isaiah 43:4, WEB), and He loves us with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3, WEB).
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who is struggling with self-doubt. Lord, we thank You for his faith in Jesus Christ and for his heart of gratitude. We ask that You would minister to him, reminding him of his true identity in Christ. Help him to see himself through Your eyes, and not through the lens of his own perceptions or the world's standards.
Father, we ask that You would give him the power to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5, WEB). Help him to recognize and reject the lies of the enemy, and to stand firm on the truth of Your Word.
Lord, we also ask that You would help him to be kind to himself, just as You are kind and compassionate towards us. Help him to understand that You do not expect perfection, but rather, a heart that is fully devoted to You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, brother, that God's strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9, WEB). It is when we are weak that He is strong. Do not despair, but rather, trust in Him. He is faithful, and He will complete the good work that He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6, WEB).
Continue to press on, and remember that it is by grace that we have been saved, through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8, WEB). It is not by our own efforts that we are made righteous, but by the blood of Jesus Christ.
Lastly, the use of IJN was good because it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we are saved and have access to God. It is good to remember that and to use His name. As it says in the Bible, You shall call his name JESUS, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins (Matthew 1:21, WEB).
