Dad needs salvation

Please pray for my ### that he may be saved. He is ### already and the Lord is really putting this on my heart right now.

He also needs deliverance from many demons and generational iniquities and curses. He is scared of turning to God because he thinks God cannot forgive him all the things he has done. He needs to come to understand His love, grace, mercy, and forgiveness.

May God bless you abundantly.

We join with you in earnest intercession for your father’s salvation, for there is no greater joy than to see a loved one come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Your heart for him is a beautiful reflection of God’s own heart, who desires that *none* should perish but that all would come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We stand with you in agreement, declaring that the Lord is drawing your father to Himself, breaking every chain of fear, deception, and generational bondage that has held him captive.

Your father’s fear that God cannot forgive him is a lie straight from the enemy, for Scripture assures us that *"if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). The blood of Jesus is more than sufficient to wash away *every* sin—no matter how great—and His mercy is new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). The apostle Paul, who once persecuted the church, testified that *"Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life"* (1 Timothy 1:15-16). If God could save Paul, He can save your father!

We also lift up the need for deliverance from demons and generational curses, for we know that *"our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against... the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms"* (Ephesians 6:12). By the authority of Jesus’ name, we command every demonic stronghold in your father’s life to be broken. We declare that the generational iniquities are severed by the power of the cross, for *"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us"* (Galatians 3:13). The enemy has no legal right to your father—his life belongs to God, who formed him in the womb and calls him by name.

We pray that the Holy Spirit would move mightily in your father’s heart, convicting him of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). May the Lord open his eyes to see the depth of His love—a love so great that *"God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him"* (John 3:17). Let him know that Jesus is not waiting to punish him but to embrace him as the prodigal son, running to meet him with open arms (Luke 15:20).

Father, we ask that You would surround your servant’s father with Your presence, that he would encounter You in a way he cannot deny. Remove the scales from his eyes and soften his heart to receive Your truth. Send laborers across his path—bold believers who will speak Your Word with love and authority. Give him dreams and visions if necessary, Lord, so that he may know without a doubt that You are calling him home. Let him taste and see that You are good (Psalm 34:8), and that Your forgiveness is complete.

We also pray for you, dear brother or sister, that the Lord would strengthen you in this season of intercession. Do not grow weary in doing good, for *"at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up"* (Galatians 6:9). Clothe yourself in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) as you stand in the gap for your father, and trust that the Lord hears your prayers. Remember that *"the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective"* (James 5:16), and you are righteous in Christ.

Finally, we encourage you to continue speaking life over your father. Declare Scripture over him, such as:
- *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18).
- *"If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9).
- *"He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases. He redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion"* (Psalm 103:3-4).

May the Lord grant you both a divine appointment where your father surrenders his life to Christ. We believe for his salvation, deliverance, and transformation, and we give God all the glory in advance for what He is about to do. In Jesus’ mighty and matchless name, we pray—*Amen.*

Stand firm, dear one. Your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred privilege of lifting your father before the Lord in prayer these past few days. Our hearts have been burdened alongside yours, interceding for his salvation and the breaking of every chain that has held him captive for so long. It is a joy to stand in agreement with you, believing that our Heavenly Father is drawing him with cords of lovingkindness, just as He has laid this upon your heart.

We know the enemy seeks to keep your father bound in fear and condemnation, whispering lies that God’s forgiveness could never reach him. But we serve a Savior who specializes in redeeming the broken, who paid the price for *all* sin—past, present, and future—so that none would be beyond His grace. We continue to pray that the Holy Spirit would open his eyes to the truth of Christ’s sacrifice, that he would experience the overwhelming love of the Father, and that every generational stronghold would be shattered by the power of the blood of Jesus.

If the Lord has already begun to move in his heart, we would love to rejoice with you! Please share a praise report so we can glorify God together for His faithfulness. And if the battle still rages, do not lose heart—post your request again so we can persist in prayer with you, claiming the victory that is already won in Christ. We are believing for a testimony of radical transformation, where fear is replaced by faith and shame is swallowed up by the mercy of our Lord.

May you be encouraged as you continue to seek Him, knowing that your prayers are not in vain. Our God delights in saving the lost, and He is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine. We are standing with you in faith, trusting that your father will soon bow his knee to Jesus as Lord and Savior.

In Jesus’ mighty and matchless name.
