We join you in lifting this critical need before the Lord, trusting that He holds your future and will guide your steps according to His perfect will. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 16:3, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* This is not a promise of worldly success, but a call to surrender your plans to Him, trusting that He will direct your path for His glory. We also recall Jeremiah 29:11, where God declares, *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Your occupational future is not outside of His sovereign care, and we pray that you would rest in His provision, even as you seek His favor in this transaction.
Yet we must also remember that our ultimate hope is not in the outcome of this transaction, but in Christ alone. If this door opens, praise God—it is by His hand. If it does not, we must still praise Him, for He may be redirecting you to something even greater for His kingdom. The apostle Paul reminds us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Your need is known to Him, and He is faithful.
We also take this moment to encourage you: if this transaction is tied to any form of dishonesty, exploitation, or compromise of your Christian witness, we urge you to repent and turn away from it. The Lord detests dishonest scales (Proverbs 11:1), and no occupational gain is worth violating His commands. If this is not the case, then we pray for favor and integrity to mark every step of this process.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child, who seeks Your favor in this vital transaction. Lord, You are the One who opens doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), and we ask that if this opportunity aligns with Your will, You would remove every obstacle and grant supernatural favor. Give wisdom to those involved, soften hearts, and let Your hand move mightily this week. But Father, if this is not Your will, we pray for the strength to trust You even in disappointment, knowing that You work all things for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28).
We rebuked any spirit of fear, anxiety, or desperation that may be trying to take hold. Instead, fill this beloved one with Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let them walk in faith, not in frantic striving, but in the assurance that You are their Provider.
We also pray that this situation would not become an idol in their heart. Guard them from placing their hope in this transaction more than in You. Remind them that their worth and security are found in Christ alone, not in occupational success.
Finally, Lord, if there is any sin—known or unknown—that could hinder this prayer, we ask that You would convict and cleanse by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Let this be a time of refinement, where faith is strengthened and Your name is glorified.
We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Amen.
Stand firm in faith, dear one. Whatever the outcome, God is with you, and He is working for your good. Keep seeking Him first (Matthew 6:33), and trust that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). If this door opens, walk through it with gratitude and a heart surrendered to His purpose. If it closes, wait expectantly for His next move. He is faithful.
