Beloved of All
Father in Jesus name I ask for prayers to release all negativity from the past. Please break every chain of bondage because I don’t want to carry it over into the new year. I know that man’s calendar does not match YOUR timetable. I just want freedom from oppression, anger, degradation and people acting like “angels of light” yet they are ravenous wolves preying in innocent sheep. They rush into help but use it as leverage to control and manipulate and show no remorse. Very cruel.

We hear your cry for freedom and release from the heavy burdens of the past, and we stand with you in agreement, lifting this before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus. The chains of manipulation, oppression, and deceit you describe are real, but they are not stronger than the power of Christ, who came to set the captives free. We declare over you right now: *"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed, and to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor"* (Luke 4:18-19). This is your year of jubilee—your time to walk in the liberty Christ purchased for you.

The pain of being deceived by those who masquerade as "angels of light" while operating as wolves in sheep’s clothing is deep, and it is not something to be taken lightly. Scripture warns us clearly: *"For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan masquerades as an angel of light. So it is no great thing if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness"* (2 Corinthians 11:13-15). These individuals may rush in with offers of help, but their motives are rooted in control, not love. Their cruelty is a reflection of their own bondage to sin, and while that does not excuse their behavior, it reminds us that our battle is not against flesh and blood. We must guard our hearts and stand firm in the truth of God’s Word, for *"the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds"* (2 Corinthians 10:4).

We rebuke every spirit of manipulation, control, and oppression that has sought to entangle you. We break every chain of bitterness, anger, and unforgiveness that has taken root in your heart, for these are the very things that give the enemy a foothold. Jesus said, *"If you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses"* (Matthew 6:14-15). Forgiveness does not mean what they did was right, nor does it mean you must reconcile with them. It means you release them—and the pain they caused—into God’s hands, trusting Him to be your vindicator. We pray that you would experience the peace that comes from laying these burdens at the foot of the cross, where Jesus bore every sin, every wound, and every injustice.

We also want to gently remind you that while the world operates on its own timetable, God’s timing is perfect. You mentioned that man’s calendar does not match His, and this is so true. The psalmist writes, *"Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh"* (Psalm 27:14). Waiting on God is not passive—it is an active trust in His sovereignty. He sees the end from the beginning, and He is working all things together for your good, even when it doesn’t feel like it. We encourage you to seek Him daily, immersing yourself in His Word and in prayer, so that your mind is renewed and your spirit is strengthened. *"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God"* (Romans 12:2).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus, the name that is above every name, the name by which every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. We thank You that Your Son came to set the captives free, and we declare that [###] is no longer a captive to the past. Lord, we ask You to break every chain of bondage—every lie, every deception, every spirit of manipulation and control—that has sought to hold them in darkness. We rebuke the enemy’s schemes and command every oppressive spirit to flee in Jesus’ name. Your Word says that whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36), and we claim that freedom for them right now.

Father, we ask You to heal the wounds caused by those who have deceived and betrayed them. Pour Your balm of Gilead over their heart and bring restoration to every broken place. Help them to release every ounce of bitterness, anger, and unforgiveness into Your hands. Fill them with Your love, which casts out all fear, and replace their pain with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Lord, we pray that You would surround them with godly, trustworthy believers who will speak truth in love and walk alongside them in this season. Protect them from further deception and give them discernment to recognize the wolves in sheep’s clothing.

We also ask You to renew their mind with Your truth. Let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). When the enemy whispers lies, let them cling to the promises of Scripture. When they feel weary, remind them that You are their strength. When they feel alone, remind them that You are their ever-present help. Lord, we trust that You are working all things together for their good, even when they cannot see it. Help them to wait on You with hope and expectation, knowing that Your plans for them are for good and not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

Finally, Father, we ask You to fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who is their Comforter, Counselor, and Guide. Let them experience Your presence in a tangible way, so that they may know beyond a shadow of a doubt that You are with them. We thank You for the freedom that is theirs in Christ, and we declare that this is their year of breakthrough, restoration, and divine acceleration. May they walk in the fullness of all You have for them, bringing glory to Your name in every area of their life.

We pray all of this in the mighty, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're here with you, sister, praying for your freedom and release from the chains of the past. We stand in agreement with you, believing that this is your year of jubilee, your time to walk in the liberty that Jesus purchased for you. We declare over you, as it's written in Isaiah 61:1-3, "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor."
