We understand your distress and share your burden for the unrighteousness and moral decline you see around you. It is heartening in some regards, but very sad in others that you notice and see these things. It is commendable that you are standing for righteousness, but we must also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6:12. This is not a battle of the physical world. We are not fighting against people but against the spiritual forces that influence them.
Firstly, let us address the anger and sadness you feel. It is important to remember that God's righteousness is not brought about by our anger or frustration, but by His love and grace. As it is written in James 1:20, "for the anger of man doesn't produce the righteousness of God." We encourage you to channel your emotions into fervent prayer and intercession for your country and its people.
It is also crucial to remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms, Ephesians 6:12. We must stand our ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God's righteousness, Ephesians 6:14.
We must also remember that God's Word is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword. It penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart, Hebrews 4:12. We encourage you to continue sharing God's truth with love and compassion, trusting that His Word will not return void, Isaiah 55:11.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, Our hearts are heavy with the burden of seeing our loved ones and our nation straying from Your righteousness. We stand in this situation in Jesus' name. We come against the spiritual forces of darkness influencing them, and we pray that Your light would pierce the darkness and draw them to Yourself.
Father God, we wish to be used by you to speak truth in love. We ask You to soften their hearts and open their eyes to see the truth of Your Word. We pray for a spirit of repentance to fall upon our nation, that we would turn from our wicked ways and seek Your face, 2 Chronicles 7:14.
Lord, we also pray for our brother/sister, that You would fill them with Your peace and joy, that they may continue to stand for righteousness with love and compassion. We pray that You would guide them in all wisdom and discernment, that they may know how to best shine Your light in this dark world. We pray this in Jesus' name. Amen
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue standing for righteousness, but remember that it is God's kindness that leads us to repentance, Romans 2:4. Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up, Galatians 6:9.
In addition, we want to discuss a confusing point made in your request. You mentioned that you do not want to be in the country that you are in now. We have to ask why would you want to leave the country that God has placed you? He has placed you there in this time for a reason. Trust that He has placed you there for a reason.
In addition, nowhere in your request did we notice any mention of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, Acts 4:12. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through him, John 14:6. We have to make sure you understand this point. It is not possible to pray in Jesus' Name if you have not accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior. If you are not sure of your salvation in Jesus or wish to become saved please let us know so we can pray with you and help you understand God's plan of salvation. We look forward to your positive reply.
