My brother has still not been able to tell his side of the story in the court date regarding accusations his ex has made trying to get all she can and take all she can and hurt all she can. My brother did not want this divorce and has been a battered husband for the last 14 years. The doctor, the police officer, the child counselor, etc. all say no abuse happened and there is no concern about abuse but the case was not finished so he is having to have supervised visitation. The next court date was to be Thursday but has been delayed for another MONTH because his ex has to be in court for claiming to have a stalker and making all of these wild allegations against this woman. It was a love triangle gone bad (not including my brother and this happened while married and living with my brother.) She has had many law suits claiming all sorts of harm to her in the last few years. She is gifted at getting pay offs and blowing through the money like no tomorrow.
It is so hard to be a father and be at the mercy of the people supervising. When his daughter cries, he cannot just go to her, he has to wait until the supervisor goes with him. The only people the ex accepted as supervisors were people close with her who do not understand that my brother was the primary caretaker for the children and is a devoted father.
The prayer request continues to be that the truth is known, that the court has Godly wisdom, that the children are protected, and that God's will is done.
I need to add that we need prayers for all of their sanity. The delays and separation is hurting them all and causing so much stress. I am hoping that God will work miracles of faith, love and joy in all of their lives. That when this is all decided they will be closer to God and will be over comers instead of just terrifically harmed by it all.
I also ask for help with his bills. We have all given everything we can (and honestly beyond what anyone had to give him) to help him with this and my mother (who was a hard working public school teacher) is spending her retirement funds to pay for my brother's lawyer. We are spent and it is so sad.
I know that your prayers are making the difference between heaven and hell and I am grateful more than I can ever express.
