Courage

Asking people for money is difficult & makes me uncomfortable. The last teaching job I worked at - a charter school - still owes me money. Now the single mom I babysit for didn't pay me when she was supposed to last week, & I need the courage to ask her for it. She didn't pay me once before, and I let it go. The second time she didn't initiate payment I asked for my pay, and received it. I just wish she'd pay me each week without me having to ask, per our agreement. For whatever reason I feel badly asking for money owed to me.

Dear Lord, please give courage to this child of yours. Let your child know that you have hold of their hand and are there with your child in God's name and glory. Give the courage to remind the person of the agreement. Bring peace and hope to us who need courage. Amen.
