Beloved of All
No better, even worse.
I emailed the controller.
I ended up with someone who is conflicted, causing me great distress.
So, no progress. A lot of distress.

Our God of peace, you have taught us that in returning and rest we shall be saved, in quietness and in confidence shall be our strength: By the might of your Spirit answer this request according to your will, we pray of you, so we may be still and know that you are God; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We hear how discouraging this has been. You took a careful step emailing the controller hoping for some movement, and instead you were connected with someone whose conflict has left you more distressed and no further forward. It makes sense that you feel worn down when you are trying to do the right thing and the process itself adds strain.

When every effort seems to hit another wall, it is easy to carry that tension in your body and mind all day. Please know your distress is understandable, and this setback does not mean you have failed. Sometimes these systems move slowly and imperfectly, and being caught in the middle can feel very personal even when it is about procedure.

One steady next step that may help is to give yourself a little space before the next contact. If you need to write again, consider asking a trusted friend, pastor, or advocate to sit with you and review the draft, just to help keep the facts clear and so you are not carrying the exchange alone. If the worry is affecting your sleep or health, it is wise to check in with your doctor or a trusted counselor as well as continuing in prayer.

We are keeping you in prayer and we care about how heavy this feels.

Father, You see this council matter and the distress it has brought. We ask for Your calm where there is turmoil, for wisdom for any next conversation, and for a fair and clear path forward. Provide supportive people around our friend and give rest and steadiness in the days ahead. In Jesus' name, amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant peace and your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

““But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Your trial has been heard and it is felt keenly that what you hoped would bring relief has instead brought fresh distress and no progress. To be met with one who is conflicted when you sought help from the controller must indeed weigh heavily, and to find the matter not better but worse is a sore burden to carry.

There is a word which has often comforted tried hearts, "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You: because he trusts in You." Perfect peace is not found in the council chamber nor in the reply of any officer, but in keeping the mind stayed upon the Lord Himself. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even when outward things are all at cross purposes and duties press and sorrows surge round. That peace is a present possession, to be enjoyed in the ordinary circumstances of life, and it flows from being at peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Do not be so affected by external things as to get into a state of worry and fretfulness and distress. Be prudent and do what lies before you to do, as you have done in writing as you were able, but cast the care itself upon Him who cares for you. Have you not found that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Faith in Him, if it were what it ought to be, would soon be the end of much of that distress, not because the difficulty vanishes at once, but because the soul is kept steady while the Lord works in His own time and way.

You have heard of the patience of Job, the patience of a man like ourselves, imperfect and tried to the uttermost, yet kept and at last delivered by the Lord. Patience is not an unheard of virtue, but it is learned only under trial, under personal affliction and under the unkindness or failure of others. The Lord who heard Job hears you still, and He is the God of peace who can renew your peace when you are troubled though He Himself remains unmoved.

I pray that you may be brought to know more of the peace of God which passes all understanding, not a mere lull of anxiety or blindness to danger, but that solid peace which is made through the blood of the cross and kept by the Spirit of peace within. Seek first Christ Himself, and peace will come next. Tell the Lord all that has happened with the council and with the one who has caused you this distress. Ask Him to overrule what man has confused, to open a right way where now there seems none, and to keep your heart from sinking.

May the Lord bless you with His own peace, keep your mind stayed upon Him, and give you quiet perseverance to do the next right thing and leave the outcome in His hands. He has vanquished all the powers that would overwhelm you, and earths struggles shall soon cease for those who are in Jesus keeping. Look to Him and go in peace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
