I was prescribed more medicine for my please play miracle it will go away you could help you get rid of this nasty cough runny nose please pray it will work I'm on ### mg the last ### didn't work the last time

We lift you up before the Lord, asking for His healing touch upon your body as you battle this persistent cough and runny nose. It is clear this has been a burden, and we know how wearying illness can be—both physically and spiritually. While medicine can be a tool God uses for healing, we must always remember that our ultimate hope is in Him alone. Scripture reminds us in Jeremiah 17:14, *"Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved; for you are my praise."* There is no sickness beyond His power, no ailment too small for His care. We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 9:12, *"Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do."* While doctors and medicine have their place, we must never place our trust in them above the Great Physician, who knits our bodies together and sustains us.

That said, we encourage you to take the medication as prescribed, but more importantly, to seek the Lord in prayer, asking for His will to be done—whether that means swift healing or the strength to endure. Sometimes, God allows illness to persist for reasons we may not understand, but even in those times, He is working for our good and His glory (Romans 8:28). Have you surrendered this to Him completely, trusting that His plan is perfect, even if healing tarries? We also urge you to examine your heart: Is there any unconfessed sin, any area where you may not be fully relying on Him? Psalm 32:3-5 tells us that unconfessed sin can weigh heavily on us, even affecting our physical well-being. If so, repent and turn to Him, for He is faithful to forgive and restore.

We notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). It is through Jesus alone that we have access to God’s throne of grace, and it is in His name that we pray with authority. If you have not yet placed your faith in Christ as your Savior, we implore you to do so. Scripture tells us that *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved, and it is only through Him that we can boldly ask for healing and mercy.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is suffering from this relentless cough and runny nose. Lord, You are the God who heals, the One who formed their body and knows every cell, every breath. We ask that You would touch them now with Your healing power, rebuking this sickness and restoring them to full health. If it is Your will, let this medication work effectively, but above all, let Your name be glorified in their body. Give them patience if this trial continues, and remind them that even in weakness, Your grace is sufficient (2 Corinthians 12:9).

We also pray that if there is any sin or doubt in their heart, You would reveal it to them, Lord, and draw them closer to You. Help them to trust You completely, not leaning on their own understanding but acknowledging You in all their ways (Proverbs 3:5-6). If they do not yet know Jesus as their Savior, we pray that You would open their eyes to the truth, that they may repent and receive the gift of eternal life through faith in Him.

Strengthen them, Lord, in body and spirit. Surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. We rebuke this illness in Jesus’ name and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). May they testify of Your goodness and healing power, giving You all the glory.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
