We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your son who is struggling with COPD and asthma. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who formed our bodies and knows every cell within us. We ask for Your healing touch upon this young man, that You would ease his shortness of breath and restore his lungs to full health. Lord, we declare that by Your stripes, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that You will satisfy us with long life (Psalm 91:16).
We also pray for practical provision, Father. You know the needs of Your children, and we ask that You make a way for the rescue inhaler to be available to him. Provide for this need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and give wisdom to those who are caring for him. Guide his doctors, nurses, and all who are involved in his treatment, that they may have discernment and skill to manage his condition.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). We command it to leave in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is written that the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up (James 5:15). We declare that Your healing power is at work in his body even now, and we trust You to bring restoration.
We encourage you to continue standing in faith, trusting that God hears your prayers. Keep seeking Him, and do not grow weary in interceding for your son. The Lord is near to all who call on Him in truth (Psalm 145:18), and He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the authority we have in the name of Jesus to pray for healing and provision. We trust in Your goodness and mercy, knowing that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen this family in faith, and let them see Your hand move in this situation. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
