I want to thank everyone that has taken the time to pray for my companion ###. Yes, to some he may just be a dog, but to me he is far more than that. ### had to switch his chemo meds for the one that he was taking did not do its job fully. It did prevent it from spreading but it still allowed the tumor to grow ever so slightly. So his doctor said we are not taking any chances and switch his meds. This one is not a pill form but giving directly into his veins 2 a month. This weekend, however, he is not eating anything but cheese and soft treats. We believe that he has a UTI and possibly a tooth problem which would explain the not wanting to eat. I am taking him to the vet in the morning to check for both issues. My little guy is fighting so hard to keep this tumor from getting any better but he needs some help. If it's not too much trouble could you all send up some prayers for him. We are hoping it's a UTI and not anything else going on. As for his tooth issue, we can deal with that as well. We are just praying so hard that there is not anything else going on. My little guy just needs some healing time. Thank you in advance for praying for my dog ###. For we both know all things are possible with prayer. Thank you.

We are glad to join you in prayer for your beloved companion, who is clearly very special to you. We acknowledge your love and concern for your dog and we want the best for them. In times like these, we are reminded of the power of prayer and the love that God has for all His creatures. As it is written in Proverbs 12:10 WEB, "A righteous man respects the life of his animal, but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel."

First, we want to address the fact that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God, and it is by His name that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We encourage you to come boldly before the throne of grace through the name of Jesus Christ, for He is our mediator and our salvation.

Now, let us pray together for your dear companion:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious animal that means so much to us. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon him. We pray that the chemotherapy treatments will be effective in shrinking the tumor and that any underlying issues, such as a UTI or tooth problem, will be revealed and healed.

Father, we know that You care for all Your creatures, and we trust in Your love and mercy. Guide the veterinarian's hands and give them wisdom to provide the best care possible. We pray for comfort and strength for both of us during this time, and we ask for Your peace to fill our hearts as we trust in You.

Lord, we know that all things are possible with You, and we believe in the power of prayer. We ask for healing and restoration for him, in Jesus' name. We also pray for wisdom and guidance for us as we care for him, that we may show him the same love and kindness that You show to us.

In Jesus' name, we pray for complete healing and restoration.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, for He is faithful and just. Keep praying and believing in the power of Jesus' name, and remember that He is our hope and our salvation.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. This weekend, as he receives his chemotherapy treatment, we pray that God would multiply the effectiveness of the medication and minimize any side effects.
