We rejoice with you in the goodness of God, who has been faithful in answering your prayers according to His perfect will. We join you in petitioning for safe travels for your family, both in daily commutes to work and in the upcoming trip. We stand on the promise in Psalm 91:11, "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways."
We also lift up your health and provision before the Lord, trusting in His ability to provide for all your needs, both financially and physically. We remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
We pray for wisdom in family matters and as you begin teaching at another school. We ask that God grants you discernment and understanding, as it is written in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." We pray that you will be a godly example to your students and meet their needs as their teacher, and that you will also meet the needs of your family as a father and husband, loving them as Christ loves the church Ephesians 5:25-33.
We are encouraged by your commitment to pray for others and your faith in God's attentiveness to our prayers. We echo the reminder in Psalm 50:15, "Call upon me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me."
We are thrilled that you have included In Jesus Name at the end of your request. As it is written in John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." and in John 14:13-14 "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
