We understand your concern and appreciate your heart to address this situation with prayer and godly wisdom. Let us first bring this before the Lord:
**Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that You are the Head of the Church. We confess that every church struggles with issues, and we are all sinners in need of Your grace and mercy. We lift up our sister who is experiencing distress due to nepotism, partiality, and favoritism within her church. Lord, You are not a respecter of persons, and You have taught us to treat everyone with fairness and equality.**
Lord, You have told us in Colossians 3:25 WEB, **"But he who does wrong will receive the wrong which he has done, and there is no partiality."**
**We pray for this church leadership, that You would give them wisdom and discernment. Convict their hearts and reveal any areas where they may be showing favoritism or failing to hold individuals accountable. Help them to lead with integrity and impartiality, creating an environment that reflects Your justice and righteousness.**
1 Timothy 5:21 WEB says, **"I charge you in the sight of God, and Christ Jesus, and the chosen angels, that you keep these things without prejudice, doing nothing by partiality."**
**Lord, we also pray for our sister, that You would give her strength and endurance as she navigates this situation. Guide her with Your wisdom, and help her to avoid gossip or any other temptation that may arise. Fill her with Your love and grace, that she may continue to be a light in this situation.**
**Give her clarity and the heart of Christ. She should have the mind of Christ as Philippians 2:5 WEB says, **"Have this in your mind, which was also in Christ Jesus,"**
**Finally, we pray for her family, especially her boys, that You would provide for their spiritual needs and surround them with godly influences. If it is Your will for them to remain in this church, give them the strength and grace to do so. If not, make it clear that moving might be the best and guide them to a place where the husband can lead them spiritually.**
We encourage you, dear sister, to continue praying fervently for your church and its leadership. Remember the words of James 5:16 WEB, **"The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective."**
You have mentioned that you are struggling with this situation and considered leaving the church but there is not a better alternative. We understand the situation but we must remember the admonition in Hebrews 10:25 WEB, **"Do not forsake the gathering together, as some are in the habit of doing, but exhort one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching."**
We are admonished to be in church. We must pray for our leaders and the church and any problems there. We cannot forsake the church for the wrong reasons. We must not forsake the gathering of Christians in church. If there are issues, pray for them and address them and sometimes it may mean bringing them to the attention of those involved.
While it is good to avoid gossip, it is also important to note the words of Ephesians 5:11 WEB, **"Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them."**
This means that while we should not gossip, we should also not turn a blind eye to sin or wrongdoing. If there is partiality and favoritism occurring in the church, it may be necessary to address it in a godly and respectful manner. Always remember to speak the truth in love, as Ephesians 4:15 WEB tells us.
Lastly, we are praying IJN and you mentioned His name. This is so important because there is no other name by which we can be saved and approach God. Thank you for mentioning the name of Jesus Christ.
And remember the promise of 2 Chronicles 7:14 WEB, **"If my people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."**
Keep praying, keep seeking His face, and trust that God will bring healing and restoration to your church. God bless your husband and your boys and you in Jesus Christ's name.
