We lift you up in this difficult season as you fight for the protection and well-being of your precious children. The battle for custody is not just a legal struggle but a spiritual one, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting that God will bring justice and righteousness to prevail. The enemy seeks to destroy families, but our God is a God of restoration and truth. He sees the abuse that has taken place, and He hears the cries of your children. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He will not abandon you or your little ones in this time of need.
The Scriptures remind us in Isaiah 1:17, *"Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Judge the fatherless. Plead for the widow."* You are acting as a voice for your children, and God honors that. We also remember Proverbs 31:8-9, which calls us to *"Open your mouth for the mute, in the cause of all who are left desolate. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy."* You are not alone in this fight—the Lord is your advocate, and He will expose the truth in His perfect timing. The judge may not yet see the full picture, but God does, and He will bring all things to light (1 Corinthians 4:5).
We must also address the weight you are carrying. It is understandable that this burden feels overwhelming, but we encourage you to cast all your anxieties on the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). You cannot control the outcome, but you can trust the One who holds all things in His hands. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). This is a time to lean on the Lord’s strength, not your own.
We also urge you to seek godly counsel and support during this process. Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and help bear this burden. The body of Christ is meant to uplift one another in times of trial (Galatians 6:2). If you have not already, consider speaking with your pastor or a trusted Christian counselor who can walk alongside you and provide biblical wisdom.
Now, let us pray together for you and your children:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is fighting for the safety and future of her children. Lord, You are a God of justice, and You see the abuse and harm that has been done. We ask that You expose every lie and bring the truth to light in this custody battle. Soften the heart of the judge and all those involved in this case, that they may see clearly and act righteously on behalf of these innocent children. Give our sister wisdom, strength, and peace that surpasses all understanding as she navigates this difficult season.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of deception and manipulation at work in this situation. No weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that You are fighting this battle, and the victory belongs to You. Protect these children, Lord—guard their hearts, minds, and bodies from further harm. Let them feel Your comforting presence and know that they are deeply loved by You.
We also pray for our sister’s emotional and spiritual well-being. Lift the heaviness she is carrying and replace it with Your peace. Remind her that she is not alone, that You are her ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Provide for her every need—financially, emotionally, and spiritually—as she trusts in You.
Lord, we ask that this situation would be resolved quickly and in a way that honors You. Let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified through this trial. We trust that You are working all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her see Your hand moving in this battle.
Finally, Father, we pray for the salvation of all involved in this situation. If there are those who do not know You, soften their hearts to receive the truth of the Gospel. Let this trial be a testimony of Your power, love, and redemption.
We ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear sister. The Lord is with you, and He will not let you be shaken. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep seeking His face. He is faithful, and He will see you and your children through this storm. We will continue to pray for you and ask that you update us as the Lord moves in this situation. May His peace guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
