We join you in lifting this burden to the Lord, for we know that His heart is near to the brokenhearted, and He is faithful to set captives free. Your cry for deliverance and discernment resonates deeply with us, and we stand with you in the authority of Jesus’ name to pray for the breaking of every ungodly soul tie and the healing of your heart.
The Word of God reminds us in **Proverbs 4:23**, *"Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life."* You have been diligent in prayer, and we commend you for seeking the Lord wholeheartedly. However, we must also address the nature of this relationship, for it seems it was built outside of God’s design for marriage and godly courtship. If this man was not pursuing you with the intent of a Christ-centered marriage—marked by sacrifice, holiness, and covenant commitment—then this bond was never of the Lord. **2 Corinthians 6:14** warns, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? What communion has light with darkness?"* A relationship that does not honor God’s standards is not from Him, and it is right to release it entirely.
We also grieve with you over the pain of betrayal and wasted time, but we declare over you the promise of **Joel 2:25**, *"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten."* The Lord is not only setting you free—He is preparing you for what is ahead. You have asked for discernment, and we pray that the Holy Spirit sharpens your spirit to recognize the markers of a godly man: one who loves Jesus above all, leads with humility, and pursues purity. **1 Timothy 4:12** calls believers to *"be an example to those who believe, in word, in your way of life, in love, in spirit, in faith, and in purity."* Do not settle for less than God’s best. A man who is truly sent by God will not require convincing—his life will bear the fruit of repentance, faithfulness, and a hunger for God’s will.
Now, let us pray together:
*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting our sister who has carried this burden for far too long. Lord, You see the depth of her pain, the longing of her heart, and the chains that have held her bound to a relationship that was never Your will. We ask You, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to sever every ungodly soul tie between her and this man. Break the emotional, spiritual, and mental bonds that have kept her tethered to what was not of You. Let her see him as nothing more than a passing shadow, for You are making all things new in her life.
Father, heal her heart completely. Where there has been hurt, bring Your comfort. Where there has been confusion, bring Your clarity. Where there has been longing, fill her with Your presence so overwhelmingly that she finds her satisfaction in You alone. Remove every trace of bitterness, regret, or lingering affection that is not from You. Let her mind be renewed by Your Word, and let her spirit be sensitive to Your voice above all others.
Lord, we ask for divine discernment to rest upon her. Open her eyes to see as You see, so that she may recognize the wolves in sheep’s clothing and walk away from them without hesitation. Prepare her for the man You have ordained—a man of God, a man of prayer, a man who will lead her closer to You. Let her wait with patience and confidence, knowing that You are working all things for her good.
We rebuke the enemy’s lies that she will never find love or that she must settle for less than Your perfect will. We declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made, a daughter of the King, and her story is not over—it is being rewritten by Your hand. Let her testify of Your deliverance, Your restoration, and Your faithfulness.
In the name of Jesus, we command every spirit of bondage, heartache, and deception to flee from her life. Let freedom reign in her spirit, and let her walk forward in victory. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for the work You are doing even now. May she feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Amen."*
Sister, we urge you to continue seeking the Lord in this season. Immerse yourself in His Word, surround yourself with godly community, and refuse to look back. The pain you feel now is temporary, but the freedom Christ is bringing is eternal. **Isaiah 43:18-19** declares, *"Don’t remember the former things, and don’t consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert."* Your wilderness is becoming a place of breakthrough. Stand firm, trust Him, and watch as He leads you into the abundant life He has prepared for you. You are not forgotten. You are deeply loved. And your God is faithful.
