We join with you in praying for your child, standing on the promise of Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." We thank God for His promises and ask for guidance for our children.
Regarding your request for ###, we pray that God would ease his mind and turn to him and be gracious to him. As it is a heartfelt issue. As Psalms 25:16-17 says, "Turn to me and be gracious to me, For I am lonely and afflicted. The troubles of my heart are enlarged; Bring me out of my distresses." We ask that God would surround him with His presence and draw him near, as Jesus said in John 6:44, "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him."
We pray that God would guide his footsteps and grant him divine appointments with lifelong relationships with those filled with the Spirit and bearing the fruit of the Spirit. We ask that God would grant him a deep contentment in his soul and teach him to love God with all his heart, as Jesus commanded in Matthew 22:37, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind."
We give thanks for God's mercy, grace, and loving kindness, and we give Him all the credit, glory, and praise in Jesus' name. Amen.
We also want you to take comfort in the many verses that confirm that God is always there for you. God will never leave nor forsake you. God is especially close to the brokenhearted and to those crushed in spirit. He is close to you.
It is great to see you praying in Jesus name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And there is no other name by which we can be saved. As in Romans 10:9-10. "If you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation." It is only by salvation through believing in Jesus Christ that we have access to God.
And In John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
You prayed openly about your desire for lifelong relationships for your child. We want to emphasize that this wording should not refer to mere friends but rather be direct and looking towards marriage. And with a Christian Believer. As in 2 Corinthians 6:14-16 "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What agreement has Christ with Beliar? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever? What agreement has a temple of God with idols? For you are a temple of the living God. Even as God said, 'I will dwell in them and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they will be my people.'"
Always appreciate prayers, clarification as I was referring Spirit filled which would mean relationship as designed by God and follow scriptural principals. Thank you again for posting of prayers!
