Prayer Focus: God, I ask You in Jesus' name bless me to be like the Bereans in the book of Acts. Don’t let me just listen and believe what Christian’s leaders and teachers say but let me search the Scriptures to see what they are teaching is the truth for myself. Bless me to listen to, meditate upon, eat, digest, and allow Your Word to dwell within me richly. Don’t let me embrace, entertain, eat, or digest false teaching. God sanctify me in the Truth of Your Word.
God bless me to always seek and consult You in every decision I make. Bless me with a keen accurate gift of discernment. Bless me to always be able to discern between good and evil, right from wrong, truth from lies, and realness from counterfeit, fake, or phony. God don’t let me be deceived, manipulated, or intimidated by anyone. God do this for me and the writer of this prayer. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so in Jesus' name.
Seek God first and pray about every decision you make. Pray and seek God concerning the church He wants you to attend, and the Pastor God wants you to have. Seek God on whom He wants you to listen to. There are many gifted men and women who are called and chosen by God. They are honored and count it a privilege to teach the Word of God in truth. Their focus is on living to please God while building up the Kingdom of God.
There are many false teachers and prophets in the world. You can't eat at every body's table and be spiritually, emotionally, and financially healthy, and sometimes physically healthy. There are many men and women who call themselves "Christian’s leaders" who misuse the people of God, prostitute their talents, gifts, and callings for monetary gain, sex, power, and control. They will sacrifice their self-respect, their relationship with God, and seat in heaven for the sake of personal or financial gain. Please be aware, that the enemy of your soul will use anyone who will allow him to steal from you, try to kill and destroy you and your relationship with God.
