Consistency - to read Bible, focus on God's promises, be given gift ot faith leading to hope to confidence, though God allows harsh circumstances of life. Try hard to be thankful, exercise words of trust in Him being good.

He promised 'good gifts' to those who ask, but I've suffered 13 years of job trials, loss of home, family, mental health, many ups and downs with Him also giving info on why (brokeness, shift from self-dependence to Him, etc.), but STILL lose hope for better life, even hate life, desire death, go to Heaven, be delivered once and for all (even as Paul stated we want to be set free).
