Thank You in Jesus' Name

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for your earnest desire to abide in Christ, the true Vine, and to bear lasting fruit for His glory. Your prayer reflects a deep longing for revelation of Jesus, the Father, and the Holy Spirit, and we join with you in seeking the nearness of God’s presence. As it is written in James 4:8, *"Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you."* We echo your cry for first love renewals, as the church in Ephesus was admonished in Revelation 2:4, *"But I have this against you, that you left your first love."* May the Lord restore to us the joy of our salvation and rekindle our passion for Him above all else.

Father, we ask You to open our eyes to see Jesus as He truly is—the Christ, the Son of the living God, just as Peter confessed in Matthew 16:16-17. No flesh and blood revealed this to Peter, but Your Spirit, and we pray for that same divine revelation to flood our hearts. Holy Spirit, as Ephesians 1:17 declares, give us *"the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him,"* that we may grow in understanding of Your Word, as Luke 24:45 describes when Jesus opened the disciples’ minds to comprehend the Scriptures. We commit to studying Your Word diligently, as 2 Timothy 2:15 instructs: *"Give diligence to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth."*

We also lift up the need for order and realignment in our lives, families, and flocks. As 1 Corinthians 14:33 reminds us, *"God is not a God of confusion, but of peace."* Father, bring divine order to our homes, our work, and our ministries. Give us grace to tend our vineyards, as Song of Solomon 1:6 warns against neglect, and to keep the gardens You’ve entrusted to us, just as Adam was placed in Eden to work it and keep it (Genesis 2:15). May our labor be joyful, our needs met, and our relationships marked by love and wisdom, as Titus 3:14 encourages us to *"learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they may not be unfruitful."*

We pray for simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ, as Paul warned in 2 Corinthians 11:3, *"But I am afraid that somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve in his craftiness, so your minds might be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ."* Protect us from distractions and idols that would draw our hearts away from You. Surround us with Your angelic ministry and protection, as You sent angels to guard Lot (Genesis 19:16), strengthen Elijah (1 Kings 19:6), and deliver Peter from prison (Acts 12:7). May we, like Abraham, entertain angels without knowing it (Hebrews 13:2), and may Your angels camp around us, as Psalm 91:10-11 promises: *"No evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."*

Abiding in the Vine, as John 15:7-8 teaches, is the key to fruitfulness: *"If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you. In this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be my disciples."* Father, we long to bear fruit that remains—fruit of the Spirit, souls won to Christ, and lives transformed by Your power. Give us a deep knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of sins, as Luke 1:77 describes, and the assurance of eternal life, as 1 John 5:13 declares: *"These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life."* May this assurance compel us to share the gospel boldly, that sinners may be converted, as Psalm 51:13 promises: *"Then I will teach transgressors your ways. Sinners shall be converted to you."*

We also pray for fellowship—with You, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and with the body of believers. As 1 John 1:3 says, *"that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us. Yes, and our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son, Jesus Christ."* Let us not forsake gathering together, as Hebrews 10:25 warns, but encourage one another in love and good works.

Finally, we lift up the needs of families, flocks, and pressing concerns. Provide for every lack, as Philippians 4:19 assures: *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Give us wisdom to steward our resources well, to care for our helpmeets, and to nurture our children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. May our marriages reflect the love of Christ for His church (Ephesians 5:22-33), and may our homes be havens of peace and righteousness.

We rebuke every spirit of confusion, distraction, or complacency that would hinder our devotion to You. We stand against the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and we declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We resist the lies of the world that would draw us away from the simplicity of Christ, and we choose to fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).

Father, we thank You for the privilege of coming before You in the name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. We acknowledge that apart from Christ, we can do nothing (John 15:5), but in Him, we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37). Fill us afresh with Your Holy Spirit, that we may walk in power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). May our lives bring glory to Your name, and may we shine as lights in this dark world (Matthew 5:16).

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
