I am really confused about my feelings towards men and women. I would really like clarity from God. I would like Him to show me His will for my future. I don't really trust the women that I have met in the past from the gay community. I would really like to go to church but I have only just started my driving lessons. My local church is an hour away on the bus. Please pray for me.

We understand that you're going through a time of confusion about your feelings and relationships, and we're here to guide you and pray with you. Firstly, let's address the clarification you seek from God. We know that God's will is good, pleasing, and perfect.

Trust in Yahweh with all your heart,
and don’t lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5

As believers, we are called to trust in the Lord with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding. This means that we should rely on God's word for guidance, especially in matters of relationships. The Bible is clear about God's will for human sexuality and relationships. God has designed marriage to be between a man and a woman.

A man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh. Genesis 2:24

We encourage you to seek community among believers who share your desire to follow God's will. It's commendable that you want to go to church, and we understand the challenges you face with transportation. We encourage you to pray about this, and perhaps seek out other believers in your local community or consider using online resources or apps to connect with other Christians nearby. Public transport is often used by God to put people in our life that need to be introduced to Jesus.

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.” Matthew 18:20

Regarding your feelings of mistrust towards women you've met in the gay community, it's important to remember that God calls us to love everyone and sharing the gospel, but to also be wise and discerning in our relationships. Ensure that you are seeking fellowship with individuals who share your commitment to biblical principles.

Be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. Matthew 10:16

Now, let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in need of Your guidance and clarity. We ask that You reveal Your will for his/her life, especially concerning relationships. Help him/her to trust in You and not lean on his/her own understanding. Guide him/her to a community of believers where he/she can grow and thrive in Your word. We also pray for a solution to his/her transportation challenges, that he/she may fellowship with other believers and we ask all this in Jesus name.

Jesus,

Finally, we want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6.

If you have not already believed in Jesus, confessing your sins, and started a new life, then we encourage you to honestly do this.

We've been thinking about your situation and we want you to know that we're here for you, praying with you and for you. It's completely normal to feel confused about your feelings, especially when it comes to relationships. We're reminded of a verse that says, "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)

We believe that God has a wonderful plan for you, and He wants you to trust Him with your future. It might feel overwhelming right now, but remember, God is always with you, guiding you every step of the way. Even when you're just starting to learn how to drive, He's right there with you.

We understand that you're feeling unsure about the women you've met in the past, and that's okay. It's important to be wise and discerning in our relationships, as the Bible teaches us. We should surround ourselves with people who encourage us to follow God's will.

As for going to church, we're so glad to hear that you want to attend! We know it's a bit challenging with your driving lessons, but we believe that God will make a way. Maybe there's a carpool opportunity with someone from your local church, or perhaps they offer online services you could join in the meantime.

Let's keep praying together, asking God to give you clarity, to guide your steps, and to help you find a church community where you can grow and thrive. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

I am still feeling confused about my feelings towards men and women after being sexually abused as a child. I would really like some clarity from God. The women that I've been around in the past are not the kind that I would trust. I would really like to be surrounded by good strong women.

I don't really have a lot of people who I can confide in when it's to do with my confusion around my feelings towards men and women. The women who I have been around haven't been ones who I would put my trust in.

We read God is not the author of confusion, yet all I deal with is confusion, changes, surprises, obstacles, one hand doesn't know what the other is doing...which to me as an organized rational person is torture. For a saner pace.
