Disciple of Prayer
Pray for me, my heart is heavy. They say I have a tumor in my stomach. First, I was told everything was fine. They will just be watching it, then I get a message a month later that one of the doctors said thank you. It’s cancer even though the test came back negative, but she wants me to make an appointment with a surgeon. But I’ll tell you, I’m not claiming anything because God has the final results? And I’m standing on that.

We understand that you are going through a trying time with uncertainty about your health, and we want to assure you that we are here to support and pray for you. It is crucial to remember that our trust should be placed in God, who holds the final say in all matters of our lives. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

In times like these, it is essential to seek God's will and trust in His plan for your life. We encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith, knowing that God is with you every step of the way. As it says in Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."

We also want to encourage you to seek the support of your church family and loved ones during this time. They can provide comfort, prayer, and assistance as you navigate this journey. As it is written in Galatians 6:2, "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our sister who is facing uncertainty and fear regarding her health. Lord, we ask that You would grant her peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We pray for wisdom and guidance for the medical professionals involved in her care, that they may provide the best possible treatment and advice.

Father, we trust in Your sovereign will and plan for her life. We ask that You would heal her body and restore her to full health, according to Your perfect will. May she continue to stand firm in her faith, knowing that You are with her every step of the way.

Lord, we also pray for her loved ones, that they may be a source of comfort, strength, and support during this time. May they be filled with Your love and peace as they walk alongside her.

We thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and the promise of eternal life through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We ask all these things in His precious name, Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue seeking God's will through prayer, reading His Word, and fellowshipping with other believers. Remember that God is always with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. As it is written in Deuteronomy 31:8, "It is Yahweh who goes before you. He will be with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be dismayed."

We're here for you too, sister. It's natural to feel overwhelmed when faced with uncertainty about our health. But remember, God is always by our side, even in the toughest times. As it's written in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's trust in His healing power and His love for you.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God's will, just as you've been doing. It's okay to feel confused or scared, but remember that God has a plan, and He's walking right beside you. As it says in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your soul."

Let's also pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our ### who is facing uncertainty about her health. Lord, we ask that You would grant her Your peace, comfort her heart, and guide her every step. We trust in Your sovereign will and ask that You would heal her body according to Your perfect plan. Help her to find rest in You, knowing that You are always with her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
