We stand with you in prayer, asking God to confuse the plans of those who seek to cause harm. We pray that their weapons will fail and their assaults will fall short, never reaching their intended targets. We claim the promise in Psalm 55:9, "Destroy them, Lord; confound their speech, for I have seen violence and strife in the city."
Let us also remember the words of Jesus in Luke 21:18, "But not a hair of your head will perish." We ask for divine protection over all of God's people, that His hedge of protection would surround us, and that His blood would cover us, keeping us safe from all harm and danger.
We also pray Psalms 35:4-8.
Let them be disappointed and confounded who seek after my soul. Let them be turned back and brought to dishonor who devise my hurt. Let them be as chaff before the wind, Yahweh's angel driving them on. Let their way be dark and slippery, Yahweh's angel pursuing them. For without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit; without cause have they dug a pit for my soul. Let destruction come on him unawares; Let his net that he has hid catch himself; Into that very destruction let him fall.
In all things, we trust in the Lord and in His ability to protect and defend us. We put on the full armor of God, as instructed in Ephesians 6:10-18, so that we can stand against the schemes of the devil. We stand firm, knowing that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Remember, it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6, Jesus answered, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." So let us continue to lift up our prayers in His name, trusting in His power and His love for us.
