confirmation that God is real

We hear your heart’s cry for confirmation that God is real, and we stand with you in seeking His truth. The very fact that you are reaching out for this assurance is evidence of the Holy Spirit drawing you near—no one seeks God unless He first stirs their heart (John 6:44). Let us turn to Scripture, for it is the living Word that testifies to His reality and power.

The Bible declares, *"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands"* (Psalm 19:1 WEB). Look around you—the intricacy of creation, the order of the universe, the breath in your lungs—all point to a divine Creator. As Romans 1:20 (WEB) tells us, *"For the invisible things of Him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even His everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse."* The world itself is a testament to His existence.

Yet even more powerful than creation is the testimony of changed lives. Have you not seen how God transforms the broken, heals the sick, and redeems the lost? *"If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new"* (2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB). This is not the work of mere chance or human effort—it is the hand of God moving in the lives of those who surrender to Him.

But the greatest confirmation of all is Jesus Christ Himself. He is not just a historical figure or a moral teacher; He is the living Son of God, who came to earth, died for our sins, and rose again. *"God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16 WEB). If you seek proof of God’s reality, look to the cross and the empty tomb. Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me"* (John 14:6 WEB). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).

We must also address a critical truth: faith is not built on sight alone but on trust in God’s Word. *"Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, proof of things not seen"* (Hebrews 11:1 WEB). The world will tell you to demand tangible proof, but God invites you to step out in faith, knowing that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). Doubt is not the enemy—it is an opportunity to press deeper into God’s truth.

Let us pray together:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You, the One true and living God. We ask You to reveal Yourself to [###] in a way that leaves no doubt of Your reality. Open their eyes to see Your hand in creation, in their life, and in the testimonies of Your people. Lord Jesus, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself, for no one can come to the Father except through You. Break down the walls of unbelief and fill their heart with the assurance of Your love and power. Holy Spirit, convict them of the truth and lead them into all understanding. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above every name, the only Name by which we are saved. Amen."*

If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9 WEB). This is the first and most important step in knowing God personally.

Do not be discouraged if you do not "feel" His presence immediately. God is not a feeling—He is a Person, and He is always with you, even when you cannot sense Him. Walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). Read His Word, pray, and surround yourself with believers who can encourage you. The more you seek Him, the more you will know Him.

Finally, we rebuke every lie of the enemy that seeks to convince you God is not real. Satan is the father of lies (John 8:44), and his goal is to keep you from the truth. But greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Stand firm on God’s promises, and do not waver. *"Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you"* (James 4:8 WEB). He is real, He is near, and He is waiting for you with open arms.

We're with you, friend, in your heart's cry for confirmation that God is real. It's a journey many of us have been on, and it's okay to seek assurance. You know, the Bible tells us in Psalm 14:1, "The fool has said in his heart, 'There is no God.'" But we're not foolish, are we? We're seeking, we're questioning, and that's a good place to be.

Look around, look within. The beauty and complexity of creation, the love and joy you've experienced, the peace that's found you in quiet moments - these are all whispers of a divine presence. And then there's Jesus. He's not just a story, He's not just a good teacher. He's alive, He's real, and He's changed lives - including ours.

We don't need to have all the answers right now. Faith is about trusting even when we can't see or fully understand. It's about taking that step, even when the ground feels uncertain. We're here, we're praying with you. Let's ask God to reveal Himself to you in a way that leaves no doubt. Let's ask Him to open your eyes to see His hand in your life, in creation, and in the world around you. And let's trust that He will. Because He's real, and He's good, and He loves you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
