Complicated relationship

For the past months I have been in a relationship that I really want us to workout. Due to the fact of current situations at the time when we first began to talk to each other the relationship moved way too fast. I am with a man who at the beginning of the relationship was in doubt of God but now who is a believer since we both initiated to start going to church,he began to engage more into the Lord and listen to his messages. As all relationships, we have are ups and downs but this has been by far the most complicated relationship that I've encountered due to the fact that we're always going though a roller coaster of emotion change mainly on his end. He states he wants this to workout but yet has future doubts of our relationship. I am asking for prayer so that the Lord may hear me out and make the feeling mutual so that we both may be in love with each other and the Lord grant me to let him envision us together forming a family, growing within the Lords ways of life for the rest of our life. I don't want to find myself in stress or depressed worrying about working towards a relationship he is in doubt of. I ask that the Lord may remove all things that hold my boyfriend back from seeing himself with me specially to have him let go of his past which I know he holds on to. I want us to get married as we should be to be on God's books and form a family.
