We come before you, Lord, with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to you in the mighty name of Jesus. We know that you see every injustice, every frustration, and every unmet need, and we ask that you intervene with your perfect justice, peace, and provision.
Father, we pray for this company that is causing such distress. You command us in Leviticus 19:13, *"You shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him. The wages of a hired servant shall not remain with you all night until the morning."* We rebuke the spirit of dishonesty and avoidance that seems to be at work here. Lord, soften the hearts of those in authority at this company. Grant them a spirit of integrity and a desire to make things right. Let them see the error of their ways and move them to resolve this matter swiftly—whether by sending the item or issuing the refund. We declare that no weapon formed against your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand against any deception or delay in Jesus’ name.
We also lift up the issue with the printer. Lord, you are the God who provides for all our needs (Philippians 4:19). We ask that you would grant wisdom and clarity to resolve this technical problem. If it is your will, let the printer be restored to working order. If not, provide another way for this need to be met so that work can continue without further frustration.
Father, we see the strain in this marriage, and our hearts ache. Scripture tells us in 1 Peter 3:7, *"Husbands, likewise, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered."* We pray for this husband, that you would convict his heart and remind him of his responsibility to love, provide for, and communicate with his wife. Lord, soften his heart and help him to respond with kindness and accountability. We also pray for this wife, that you would fill her with your peace and strength. Help her to respond in a way that honors you, even in frustration, and give her the wisdom to navigate this season with grace.
We also lift up the situation with the mother-in-law’s building. Lord, you tell us in Proverbs 3:27, *"Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it."* We pray that the person responsible for communication would be moved to respond promptly and helpfully. Remove any spirit of avoidance or neglect, and let this matter be resolved quickly so that access is no longer a barrier.
Lord, we recognize the overwhelming weight of all these challenges combined. We declare that you are the God who sees (Genesis 16:13) and the God who cares. You invite us in Matthew 11:28, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."* We pray that you would lift this burden and replace it with your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen this dear sister in her spirit, mind, and body. Remind her that she is not alone—you are with her, and you will never leave her nor forsake her (Hebrews 13:5).
We also want to gently remind her that her hope and trust must ultimately be in you, Jesus. While we pray for earthly resolution, we know that true peace comes from surrendering all these concerns to you. We encourage her to cast all her anxieties on you because you care for her (1 Peter 5:7). Help her to lean on you, to seek your wisdom in prayer, and to trust in your timing.
Finally, Lord, we ask that you would draw this family closer to you through these trials. Let these challenges refine their faith and deepen their reliance on you. May they emerge stronger, more united, and more grounded in your love.
We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we are saved and through which we have access to you. Amen.
