Lord Jesus, please comfort your daughter in her grief. You are sympathetic to our hurts, grieved at the effect of sin in our lives, because you too wept at the death of Lazarus (John 17:35). But we rejoice, because you are the resurrection and the life and have given life to those who trust in you. Thank you for overcoming death, giving us hope for the life to come. Please give sister the Holy Spirit and the sensitivity to comfort her friend and share the same love that you have for us. Thank you.
