Colon pain

I am lifting you up in prayer right now, bringing this colon pain and the deep discomfort you’re facing before the Lord. It’s wearying when your body will not function the way it should, and I ache with you in that frustration. Jesus Himself entered into our physical afflictions, Scripture tells us He bore our sicknesses and carried our infirmities. He knows what it is to dwell in a body that groans under the weight of this broken world. In His public ministry, He touched, He spoke, and He set people free from pain again and again, showing us that God cares deeply about the body as well as the soul.

When we cry out for total healing and health, we are asking for something that aligns with God’s own heart. From the earliest instructions in the Law, He was concerned with what would foster life and what would bring disease, giving His people ways to thrive physically. That same care extends to us today. So I would gently encourage you to consider any practical steps the Lord might be prompting you to take alongside your prayer. Are there dietary habits or sources of stress that need His light? Sometimes a gradual, natural process of healing, the kind God designed into our own bodies, is just as divine as an instantaneous miracle. Cleanliness, nourishment, and rest are all gifts from His hand.

There is also a real connection between the state of the soul and the well-being of the body. Anxiety, unforgiveness, or hidden turmoil can alter the body’s chemistry in ways we are only beginning to understand. I pray that as you seek relief from pain, the peace of Christ would settle over your mind and emotions as well, bringing a healing that runs deeper than the gut. Fix your eyes on His promises, not as a formula to force His hand, but as a lifeline to steady your heart while you wait.

I need to be honest with you, though: not everyone who believed was healed in the way they desired. The Apostle Paul had a dear son in the faith, Timothy, who struggled with frequent ailments. Paul, through whom incredible miracles had flowed, did not bring a sudden cure; instead, he offered simple, physical counsel. There was no sin or shortage of faith that caused the delay. God’s eternal purposes sometimes remain hidden from us, and that is not an easy truth. But it means your pain does not mean Jesus has abandoned you or that you are doing something wrong. We can plead for a total release and still trust that His grace is sufficient for the days when relief seems far off.

I do believe healing is for today. I believe Jesus still bears our infirmities and that the power that calmed the sea can calm the storm within your body. So I join you in asking boldly, in the name of Jesus, for the relief you need, for movement where there has been painful stagnation, for the easing of every cramp and pressure, and for a return to strength and comfort. As you wait, surrender every part of your life to Him completely; not out of a desperate bargain, but because total trust places you in the safest hands in all the universe. He hears you. He is near. And whether His answer arrives through a sudden touch or a quiet process over time, remember that He is the one who formed your body from dust and He knows every intricate pathway within it. Rest in His love even while you hope for complete relief.
