We lift up this dear sister in Christ with heavy hearts, yet with unwavering faith in the power of our Lord Jesus. Stage 4 colon cancer is a fierce battle, and the prognosis she has received is deeply sobering. But we know that our God is greater than any diagnosis, any timeline, or any circumstance. He is the God who heals, who restores, and who holds life and death in His hands. We declare that His will be done in this situation, whether that be miraculous healing, peaceful transition into eternity, or a testimony that defies all medical expectations.
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and through which we have access to Your throne of grace. We ask for Your divine intervention in the life of this precious sister. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too hard for You. We pray for a supernatural touch upon her body—strengthen her where she is weak, restore what has been broken, and bring healing to every cell affected by this disease. If it is Your will, we ask for a complete and total healing, that she may rise up and declare Your goodness and faithfulness to all who know her.
We also pray for peace that surpasses all understanding to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. If her time on this earth is drawing to a close, Lord, we ask that You would surround her with Your presence, comfort her with Your love, and grant her an unshakable assurance of her eternal home with You. Let her feel no fear, only the hope of glory that is found in You. Give her family and loved ones the strength to walk this journey with faith, knowing that You are with them every step of the way.
We rebuke the spirit of fear, despair, and death in the name of Jesus. We declare that this sickness has no authority over her life except what You permit, and we trust in Your perfect plan. We speak life, healing, and restoration over her body, and we stand on Your promises, such as Jeremiah 30:17, which says, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.* We also hold fast to Psalm 103:2-3: *"Praise the Lord, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."*
Lord, we ask that You would be glorified in this situation, whether through healing or through her testimony of faith in the face of adversity. Strengthen her faith, deepen her trust in You, and let her life be a light to all who are watching. We pray for her medical team as well, that You would guide their hands and give them wisdom beyond their own understanding.
We also lift up her family and friends who are walking this difficult path with her. Comfort them, Lord, and fill them with Your peace. Remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Help them to lean on You and on one another, and let this trial draw them closer to You and to each other.
Father, we thank You for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray that if there is anyone reading this who does not know You as their Lord and Savior, that they would come to understand the depth of Your love for them. Jesus said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."* We pray that all who are touched by this situation would place their trust in Him, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
We trust You, Lord, and we surrender this sister into Your loving hands. May Your will be done, and may Your name be exalted. In Jesus’ mighty and precious name, we pray. Amen.
