College Acceptance

My daughter is full of anxiety as she awaits the news of acceptance to Pennsylvania State University.  Julia, has worked hard to to be a good student and remains within the top of her class, she is active in all aspects of high school, NHS, Peer Leadership, Principals Advisory Committee, class officer and choir president to name a few.  As hard as she works, she is a normal high school student and runs into obstacles that aren't always fair. The last hit hard, but the power of prayer allowed Julia to find a silver lining and she never looked at it as failure.  Our children's difficult life lessons are often harder on us, heartbreaking!  I am anxious for the news as well, but experience has taught me to trust in God and pray.  As we await the news from Penn State, I hope that Julia's faith in God remains strong and her anxiety is removed as her hand is always held by our Good Lord.  Lord, I pray that Julia continues to trust in you and, as she reaches for your hand, I pray that her college choice is the same path that you have planned for her. I pray to you, my Lord and my Savior.

Trust in the unfailing love of the Lord, and in His promises.

Give Him this day and everything that it holds.

Walk in His goodness, knowing that His gentle hand will guide you and keep you.

I pray that the Lord hears your prayer requests and answers them according to His will.

Have you ever thought about the teaching of taking no thought for your life? It's amazing to take no thought for your life and wait on the Lord to put something on your heart to do. I have had physical and emotional pains vanish singing in myself humming take no thought for my life, I give it all to you Lord. Check out Isaiah 55:7, Mathew 6:25 and Proverbs 3:7 & 8 (HEALING) the verses in order will bless you
